Hazy deep amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth, slightly soft and a little viscous. Semi dry. A little toffee and malt cream. A little dried fruits and a touches of spice and wood. Mellow sweet sherry and dessert wine. Semi dry finish. Pretty drinkable.

On tap at Haand Festival. Unclear body, dark amber in color and with a two-finger off-white head. The aroma is vinous, with alcohol, figs and raisins and some vinegar notes. The flavor has a decent bitterness, vinous alcohol and dark dried fruits. Bitter, lighlty sweetish finish. Full-bodied, dryish and with a nice carbonation level. Vinous, lasting finish. A quite pleasant one, showing how well barrel ageing can be done. 130525

Tap @ ZBF 2013.
Pours clear nice amber with a small, bubbly, off-white film head. Aroma has caramel malts, light toasted, oak, grapes and alcohol. Low carbonation, light dry and quite oily mouthfeel. Flavour is sticky sweet, grapes, vinious, toasted. A bit too sweet and strong to really excel.

Kirschiger, trocken holziger Antrunk. Eher unsüffig, auch wenn der Alkoholgehalt nicht erkennbar wird. Zum Ende etwas säuerlicher, dennoch behäbig bleibend. 8/8/9/8//8

Bottle @ Sticky floor tasting II. A bit hazy red color, medium sized quickly diminishing beige head. Don’t get too much aroma other than malts and overripe fruits. Taste malts, alcohol, overripe fruits, a touch of sweetness, wood. Full body, medium carbonation. Nice.

Draught Small, if rather stable head, cream, over brown-ruby beer, not opaque. Old brandy, brandycake with preserved fruit, dried fruit on brandy. Sweet, alcoholic, but with a wry, burr-like finish. Wood, solvent or woodstainer, severe. Very thick, well-bodied, oily-viscous feel. Sever, but great. Loved it.
