Tasted at the 4th BBF @ de Molen. Hazy orange pour. Aroma of vanilla, fruity, leather and some alcohol. Flavor is slightly harsh, alcohol and bourbon. Fruity, sweet and strong. Off balance.

Dark copper, big tanned head - amazingly big for a beer with this high ABV. Smells of oak, hints of funk, bourbon, malts and booze. Heavy sweet, caramel, vanilla and bourbon, quite warming and boozy, dry mouthfeel an a oaky tendensy. Low bitterness. This is quite a successful oak experience. I love how the bourbon and oak is integrated in this one

On tap at Borefts beer festival, de Molen, day two. Hazy dark gold pour with a thin white head. Vanilla in the nose. Strong banana lacquer flavor.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours hazy yellow, small yeast floaties and a minimal bubbly and white head. Aroma is dense fruity, apples and winegrapes. Dry and slight smoked touch. Sweet honey like flavoured mixed with a distinct wooden and bourbon flavour. Slight citric and apple fruity into a lasting and warming wooden and bourbon flavoured finish.

Draught at Borefts BeerFest 2012. Cloudy red/brown - offwhite head. Sharpness, some bourbon, toasted, sweetness, herbal, bitterness, candy sweetness, caramel, fruity. A bit thin.

Cloudy golden with a medium off white head. Aroma had barnyard, wood and malty notes. Sweet flavour with barnyard, malt, caramel, wood, vanilla and bourbon notes. Finished sweet. Reminded me of a sweet Gueuze.

Tap at ZBF´13, Leuven: Clear amber coloured brew with dry-bitter taste and some hints of fruit and vanilla.

Bottle @ Alvinne Proeflokaal. Amber to brown coloured beer with some medium carbonation and a small white head. Sweet herby almost pear fruity hinted aroma. Full palate. Finish is sweet light fruity with a short yeasty note. Not bad.

Tasted at 1st Borefts Beer Festival, Bodegraven. Golden coloured. Malty aroma, liquor. Malty flavour, some fruity notes, oak. Not impressed.

Tasting at Papsø
Hazy deep blond color. The aroma has some spicy yeast and Bretts; whisky? Maybe, but not really Bourbon. The flavor is a strange combination of soft Bretts, distillate alcohol, light spicy Belgian yeast, very light vanilla and citrusy stuff. The final is quite burning. More chaotic than good, no focus.
