2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Part of the first German beer tasting in Idar-Oberstein. Thanks to Steptin. Light orange color with no head. Aroma is pine, and sweet candy. The taste is very sour and some spice, Palate is terible. Not a good beer at all in my book. Why would someone want to drink this?

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled sample consumed at Avenue Pub. Gold in colour with moderate yet spritzy carbonation. Aromas are of sour citrus, oak, liquor (maybe white vermouth), and mustard. Flavours are of more sour fruit, wood, white grapes, vanilla, and a bit of balsamic vinegar. Round mouthfeel and a bit boozy. Not bad.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by Dan. Aroma is dulled hops; citrus, and resin; oak, peach and mustard. Pours chunky and murky with small chunky film. Looks like cider sludge. Taste is pleasant with peach notes, vanilla oak, slight bar mustard and a resin hop finish. Nice enough but I was unimpressed.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dasilky1 tasting. Dec 13th 2009. Bottle opened by WeeHeavySD. Thanks Jon! Deep yellow color. Maybe a little cloudy (I like cloudy for some reason). Some oxidation, which is nice. Leans dry. Somewhere between a saison and a Belgian triple. Fruity. Very good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy cider colored with very little head. Aroma is like a cider fermented with brett. Sweet and spicy with that pleasant pineapple and barn. Taste is the same, with more bretty bitterness and tannic woodiness well after the finish. Some warming alcohol.

4.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Cloudy, half-set honey with a fade from straw-gold to tiger orange all topped with a creamy crest - picture perfect. Lemony Belgian yeast aromas mingle with a bandy burn on the nose. Smooth and sleek on the tongue carrying puffy wafts of sweet and sour. A tiny detection of light hopping and a spirituous richness that sticks in the throat. An amazing beer.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light orange coloured beer with no head. The taste is sour sweet, spiced, just like the aromas. I miss gas in this beer. Not totally my thing.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle with our Mes, cheers our kid. Murky orange with a few floaty bits, thin white head. Great smell, can really pick out the oak aging, apple, tarty ciderness. Flavoutr similar with a lovely sweet and sour finish. Very good.
