750 ml bottle @ redlight redlight. Funky oaky aroma with sour mustard aromas. Pours a hazy orange with no head. Oaky upfront with hints of mustard and hints of brandy with some citrus and apple notes as well. Very smooth and sweet. Very interesting and different!

Bottle. Light brown coloured beer with a reddish hint. Very light carbonation and a very small white head. Special, light sour fruity hinted aroma with a short malty touch. Full palate. Finish is sour sweet and fruity hinted with short touches of oak, herbs and malts. Not bad.

Bottle at Pre-ZBF 2010. Cloudy golden - no head. Calvados, sweetness, apples, alcoholic, licorice, brandy, wheaty, sharpness, wooden, grapes, light yeasty.

A light,clear amber pour, small off white head. Aroma is all over the place! Tons of brandy notes, woody, herbal notes, some earthy aromas as well. Sweet and boozy up front on the flavor, some interesting herbal flavors and spice. Finishes warm.

Pouring at Where the Wild Beers Are. Pours a hazed apricot amber with a thin white head. Soft wood, apples, musk. Super sweet, musky and woody. Wood, musk, caramel, light toast. Musk and wood with some funk. Didn’t really stand out in any way.

Pours cloudy apricot with white head. Nose of mustard seed, oak, hops, Belgian yeast and apple. Taste of granny apple, oak, light bourbon, Belgian yeast and farmhouse funk.

Cloudy orange with absolutely no head. Aroma is sour candy, earthy wood, baked apple. Slightly sticky mouthfeel, sweet on the palate. Taste is baked apple, wood, pear, caramel, fruit, lemon meringue pie.

Bottle… Cloudy peach-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Odd bouquet - spicy, salty, herbal and earthy. Medium-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. Like the aroma, the flavor is odd, but enjoyable – herbal and earthy. Spicy mustard seed, anise, coriander, earthy hops, light acidity and a touch of salt. Finishes earthy and herbal. Strange brewery, this one. Lots of hits, misses and almosts. Always off-center.
