Apesar de Belga, lembra muito as tradicionais IPAs. Um forte lembrança de chinook

Hazy deep copper under a sticky off white foamy cap. The nose has an odd herbal tone with a meaty bit of wood and pale toffee earthy malts. Smooth flavor of rich toast and pale grains with a bit of herbal bitterness and coriander or chamomile or something similar. Rustic and malty based.

Theydon_Bois (9930) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2014
Bottle at BBF 6, 27/09/14. Lightly hazed rich amber with a big beige covering that retains well. Nose is woody, spice, must, dark berry tang. Taste comprises dark red berry skins, earthy, musty wood rinse. Medium + body, fine carbonation, light booze in the close but ultimately doesn’t deliver a lot ABV considered.

Well it's going to be very difficult for me to give this a good rating. It was a gusher and when I open the bottle three quarters of it gushed out. What's left is full of yeast. Aroma is really good though malt Caramel spice and of course yeast. I was looking forward to this beer too, Damnit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

   AROMA 8/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 16/20
Alengrin (2436) - BELGIUM - SEP 6, 2014
Belgian-style barley wine with thin but stable, cream white, delicate head and brownish copper colour, hazy. Complex and pleasant aroma of candi syrup, orange liqueur, honey, peach, cognac, butterscotch, pineapple, pepper; sweet candi-ish taste with medium carbo, very fruity, supple caramelly malt base, long herbal hoppiness, dry with tingling but not astringent, warming brandy-like alcohol. Very good indeed.
