3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 yngwie (9175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 27, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 10, 2011 Bottle at Københavnske Øldage. Unclear, orange beer with a nice, dense, beige head. Spice, candi, hops, caramel and some burnt sugar in the aroma. The flavor is quite sweet, with some citrus, spices and hops. Full, warming, lightly sticky mouthfeel. Long, sweet finish with alcohol. I think the beer is a bit too sweet, but it’s quite nice and deserves it’s score. Rating: 7-4-7-4-15-3.7. 070512
Bottle. An unclear, golden-orange beer with a dense, off-white head. Sweaty and sweet nose with fruityness and some sour notes. Sweet and fruity flavor with a sour touch, finishing on the fruity side. Medium to full body, decent carbonation, but feeling dead in the mouth. A decent beer, nothing more. 101126

Bottled. Hazy nutbrown colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is fruits, honey blueberries/raspberries/strawberries and some slight yeast. Flavour is leather, yeast, a lot of spices and some caramel malts. A rather twisted brew, but at the same time very pleasant.

330 ml bottle. The third and last of the three sacred kings... Big fluffy and lasting white head. Light amber, softly carbonatied, and slightly hazed body. Malts, caramel and alcohol in the aroma. Notes of dates, raisins and coriander. Taste is dominated by fruits, alcohol and sweet malts. Strong body. Raw, alcohol-ish mouthfeel. Not bad, but not very balanced.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Adenila (1459) - DENMARK - MAY 13, 2007
Wasnt too happy about this one, was served the remaining cl’s from a bottle which meant all the remaning yeast ended up in my glass. Had a very muddy look, like clay disolved in water. Harch yeast arome with a rather foul sourness in there. Exploding palate. Could detect some darkfruits in the moutharoma along with some vague citrus hops, ended up pooring the rest though....
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Grovlam (4108) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 12, 2007
Large fizzy off-white head that mostly lasted. Good lacing. Heavy muddy looking brown colour. Citrus, yeast, caramel, fruit and spice and distant herbal note as well. Full bodied with an alcoholic texture and average carbonation. Flavour was bitter with some sweetness. Somewhat bitter and alcoholic warming finish.
