Bottle from Beergium. Pours hazy amber with massive white head that disappears quickly. Malty aroma with some spices, citrus and yeast. Lightly boozy and malty taste with caramel, spices and some red berries. Lightly bitter, long finish.

StoutHead (945) - DENMARK - DEC 25, 2015
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber colour with a HUGE head. Seriously - give this beer an ID...it’s alive. BIG bubbly head and impossible to pour in one go, but the head dissappears into nothing in a minute. Lots of yeast sediment. Aroma of malt, fruits and spices. Taste is of malts, caramel, lots of fruits and spicy as hell. Bitter finish. Super complex but a bit too boozy mouthfeel. A bit unbalanced but tastes rather well.

Thank you! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2015. After nearly 80 Alvinne beers, I finally get around to trying this one. Deep amber, tanned head. Nose is carries odd sweet vinous qualities, lightly sour but with lots of candy, very sweet malts, spices, thick yeast. Taste is sweet candy with spoiled yeast, conflicting flavors, spices, candy, thick malts, spices, moldy old fruit,… A bit fizzy. Weird, conflicting but enjoyable. As for the odd vinous qualities I am pointing my finger at Morpheus yeast. I prefer this one as a base beer for Barrel Aging experiments. Still interesting, like a Belgian trying to become a vintage Barley wine of sorts.

Robe ambrée. Nez sur la griotte acidulée, touche pétrolée, pointe balsamique. Bouche à l’attaque acidulée, de la tension, de l’amertume et une finale austère et amère. Une bière assez déséquilibrée.

Gurthnar (5020) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - NOV 23, 2015
Bottle at 100 piv. Quite boozy. Alcohol comes out unpleasantly and the beer does not have the classic Belgian finnesse which would hide it in plethora of flavours. This seems rather simple in comparison. There are dried fruits, burnt sugar and some spicy yeastiness, but ethanol takes the shine. Meh. Poorly drinkable though not entirely bad.

BlazerT (521) - POLAND - NOV 15, 2015
Bottle. Sensoric. Reddish with big, light brown head. Very big gashing, beer almost exploaded from the bottle. grain, yeasty and fruity aroma. Quite noticable funky notes. Medium bitterness broken by sweet malty and grainy character. Medium to full body, sticky texture, finish is sweet with noticable ABV.
