Have never had a beer with so much foam, took me several minutes to pour the beer to my tulip glass. Not a very distinctive aroma, with a burnt caramel color. Very bitter taste, with alcohol up front, malty, toasty, still with the alcohol.

From zombier. In Duvel glass. After dinner. Its high ABV isnt appreciable at all. The beer is very turbid, with lots of particles floating and little foam. Smells and tastes nicely sweet. A good and repeatable offering

In bottiglia. Colore ramato intenso, velata, lievito in sospensione.

Gusher. Having been exposed to Alvinne products previously I took the precaution of opening this one in the sink. Which saved quite a bit of mopping up. Huge offwhite head. Hazy amber body with carbonation and lots of floaties. Funky earthy barnyard aroma. Dry funky earthy taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mealy mouthfeel, flat. Dry fruity earthy aftertaste with wooden funky notes. Well. This didn’t give me much. (0.33l bottle, I don’t know where from.)

Vitaminene varmer i magen. Bruset munnfølelse, tørr avslutning.

Bottle@home. Light hazy brown. Well lasting two finger foam. Plenty of yeast on top of the foam coming instantly after opening the Bottle. Good carbonation. Intense yeasty peppery notes. Dry sharp bitterness. Not Bret as its brother brews. Strong but alcohol partly hidden.

330ml bottle. Glad this only cost me £1.20. Lost a third of it down the sink. The rest of it continued to gush. Way too carbonated.pours such a hazy brown. Looks soupy and grim. Aroma and taste bothsour and alcoholic at first. I left it to stand for over an hour. After which it just tasted like quite an average Belgian ale. So a lot of faffing for not much gain. But I could at least finish it which I didn’t expect at first. Still, rating this low because I am pissed off by losing yet another third of an Alvinne beer.
