Well it's going to be very difficult for me to give this a good rating. It was a gusher and when I open the bottle three quarters of it gushed out. What's left is full of yeast. Aroma is really good though malt Caramel spice and of course yeast. I was looking forward to this beer too, Damnit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Belgian-style barley wine with thin but stable, cream white, delicate head and brownish copper colour, hazy. Complex and pleasant aroma of candi syrup, orange liqueur, honey, peach, cognac, butterscotch, pineapple, pepper; sweet candi-ish taste with medium carbo, very fruity, supple caramelly malt base, long herbal hoppiness, dry with tingling but not astringent, warming brandy-like alcohol. Very good indeed.

Een van de beste bieren dat ik al geprobeerd heb en sowieso het beste dat Alvinne te bieden heeft

On tap @ Haandfest 2013. This is a cloudy dark orange one with a small but lasting beige lacing top. Smells of red wild fruits, some drops of vinegar and grapes. Not the most stunning aroma I’ve ever smelled, but its fair enough. It has a mild oily mouthfeel and a average carbonation level. Quite mouthdrying, almost a bit astringent in a way. Sweetness with a wood sourness. Mild of that kind. More grape zest with pine juice and grass. Not to impressive to be honest. 25.05.2013

Donkerblond bier, aardige kraag.

Copper colored. Minimal head. Aroma is yeasty, some crackers, and pepper. Taste is boozy. Some bubblegum sweetness. Mustard where I would expect. Semi-sweet finish.

Dark and sweet mustardseed beer. Half of the content vanished when opening it, but the taste was exceptionally well, but a bit too sweet for a beer.

Sample from bottle at the brewery. APPEARANCE: clear dark blond beer, small unstable off white head. NOSE: sweet, hoppy, little grassy, somewhat bitter. TASTE: flat, bitter, little sweet, bittersweet aftertaste, grainy, little dry. Decent altogether.

Bottle HUGE gusher Pours dark, warm amber. Sediment is unavoidable in the glass, and floats around . Smell is yeast , sweet, grains, fresh , bitter. Taste is sweet, bitter, yeast, dough , rather intense, carbo is doable, unexpectedly .
