33cl bottle @ Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Pours cloudy to muddy orange with a large fluffy white head and small yeast chunks floating. Nose and taste is sweet of fruit, alcohol and yeast. Dry and warming. Full bodied. A real warmer.

Cloudy brown beer. Semi dry and semi crisp palate. Low carbonation. Tart and a little sour. Orange, lemon sherbet well integrated with rich malt. Finishes with more sour lemon and orange. Refreshing. Hides the abv very well.

Nice, a complexity that needs a second try. I like it but it is to much flavor to describe. I will repeat

Reviewed at the 16th Essen Christmas Beer Fest 2010. Pours a hazy bronze colour, with an off-white head: this beer was on-tap. The Hallertau Perle and Hallertau Spalt Select hops don’t give off much aroma and being unfiltered and unpasturised the yeast smell seemed to be the dominant one to me, some mixed herbs and spices also appear in the nose. Sugar and mustard seeds are added during the brewing process and this made the taste a strange sweet and sour mix that just about complimented each other. The hops gave the finish a dry bitterness even if they added little to the smell. Alvinne do mess around with their beers at times, this one was fine in my eyes, although I sometimes wish they’d just brew a regular beer and leave it alone (no mustard seeds, oak aged in vomit, etc, etc)

Extremely strong gusher!!! Lost nearly 90% of the beer. Fucking Shit!!!! The beer in the glass is brownish-orange, slightly cloudy. Pleasant smell yeasty and sour, of raisins and plums. Starts yeasty-sweet, with lots of raisins and plums, also sugary and alcoholic. The middle part is also yeasty and sugary-sweet, plum and raisin are once again represented in the background. Goes into a sweet and yeasty, alcoholic finish. (Point Loss cause of this extremely gushing attack!!!)

Amber colored pour. Slim layer of bubbles and a tiny bit of lacing. Smells like a fruity syrup. Sugary and full of perfume. Cloying sweetness. Big alcohol presence. A little thin on the back, which is surprising after the sugary presence up front. This one needs a ton of age on it, then maybe it will be a decent winter warmer. Not as good as the barrel aged versions.

Pours a nice Medium golden yellow color. Minimal fizzy white head, lasted maybe a minute or two. Aromas of light spices, a touch of brown sugar, and something vegetal. Flavor is lightly sweet and hints of spiciness. Touch of citrus.

Bottle. Poured clear yellow color with a large white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate complex herbal and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium spicy sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met.
