4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours dark-brown with large beige head. Aroma is very fruity, grapes, sour cherries, hops. Taste is a complex mix of sweet roasted malts, dark chocolate, some piney hops, a bit of spice, a bit of sour cherries. Overall it is actually very similar to an imperial stout. Deliciously smooth and full body. Alcohol completely hidden. Very tasty and underrated!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle. Hazy dark brown with huge lacing beige head. Very nice hop aroma with dark malty, slightly roasty, background. Dark malty taste; well balanced dry hop notes and light yeasty flavours make it extremely drinkable considering the abv.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
200ml Sample at Bierkultur Festival in Köln-Ehrenfeld. Appearance is blackish-brown color with medium, velvety head. Aroma is light with notes of chocolate. Taste is bitter chocolate, woody, roasted grains, caramel sweet. High alcohol gives it a boozy quality. Palate is full-bodied, very creamy/smooth texture, soft and light carbonation, and a nice warm, semi-dry finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle from beer planet. gushed out of the bottle when opening and kept volcano gushing even after i had poured a small glass. I wish alvinne would find a way to fix this, as it is often a waste of beer and a mess in my kitchen witht heir beer. bubbly fluffy brown head, clear very dark brown beer. roasted malts and belgian wild yeasty aroma. chocolate. Flavor is roasted malts, brown sugar, syrup, faint caramel, the end is slighty more roasted. also faint dark fruits, in fact the flavor settles somewhere between a quad and a belgian mistake for a stout. If you like quad you might like this one with the dried fruits and all. sweet but tasty. alc. well hidden.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle - 330ml. Pours a cola brown body with a huge, lasting beige foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with vineous and plummy hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Taste carries grainy, woody, and plummy notes. It ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Good stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Squat little 33cl bottle courtesy of sebletitje that uncapped and proceeded to ooze with mocha foam and got me running to the sink. It ends up with a dark body and mocha head. The aroma is a bit dusty and then becomes more musty prunes and boysenberries and then a touch of DRM. The taste starts with a mix of blueberries, boysenberries and sweetened black currents. It then picks up a thin layer of dark roasted maltiness. Around the edges of these notes I get a bit of dusty yeastiness. This comes together for me as I drink more of it.
