Bottle, at HaandFestival 2012. It pours an unclear, golden body and a small, white head. Sourish, citrusy nose with white sugar, grassy hops and some herbal notes. Bitter, citrusy flavor with some tropical fruits, peaches mostly, and a nice sweetness. Pleasant bitterness in the end. More or less full-bodied, semi-dry and nicely carbonated. A pleasant, tasteful and repeatable Belgian-style ale with a higher bitterness level than I’m used to from that part of the world. 120504

33cl bottle at Olympen, Oslo. Pours deep golden with a fluffy white head. Malty aroma with Belgian yeast, fruit and hops with a hint of citrus. Sweet and malty, but well balanced. Fruity and lightly hoppy finish with a nice bitterness. Very pleasant and a good Belgian ale. (2012-08-02)

33cl bottle. - Nose says fruity hops, body says bready Belgian malt&yeast galore, taste says saison with attitude: loads of resinous, soapy, citrus (orange) hops - and something off-ish in the foam (barnyard funk) to top off a challenging, if quite enjoyable brew. Glad I chilled this one more than usual on this hot day.

Thin dense blond head, over an unclear orangey-golden body. Soft, lightly toasted malt aroma. Orange fruity hop tones. Well-bodied with sparkling carbonation. Rounded fruity bitterness. Light wheaty malt character. Some yeast, and subtle pepper tones. A nice fruity and resinous hop bite in the ending. [Sampled from 0.33 L bottle, garden tasting may 2012]

750mL bottle at home, thanks to my friend Rachel for bringing this one back for me. Pours cloudy orange-tawny with a greenish cast, very thick and moderately long-lived head, spotty lacing. Nose is tart and very yeasty, with French bread, leather, dust, preserved lemons, sweat, and light funk, with dying hop notes. Flavours of spice, light soap, nice hop bitterness, very crisp, and a bit funky. Pleasant enough, if a bit unremarkable.
