750ml bottle (Alvinne webshop)
Alas, this was a small gusher. I expected as much, so opened it in the bathroom. Please guys - get that under control, you’re not homebrewers, you’re supposed to be professionals. Head settles quickly, but residual carbonation keeps a tiny layer of bubbles on top at all times. Hazy to cloudy as poured, we left all the obvious yeast in the bottle (about a quarter of it). The aroma’s lush - on pouring it’s so fruity, it’s like one of our better sima’s - spicy and citrussy. In the glass there’s more hoppiness to it. Crisp palate, largely due to the quite aggressive carbonation. But the attenuation’s so good that this doesn’t become a foamy mouse in the mouth like some stickier sweeter over-carbonated brews. Taste is a very pleasant hoppy triple - quite bready grains, and lots of spicy zesty retronasals. Finish has grapefruity and almost hallertau-like biting bitterness. Numbs the tongue, it’s so bitter. Mellower, fruitier, a touch smoother in the palate, but dirtier with a small fraction of the yeastier remnants added to one of the glasses, and with less of a bitter bite. I prefer the really bitey one without the yeast. Yay, so we get about 500ml to drink from our 750ml bottle. Joy. It’s a bloody nice beer, very drinkable. Alcohol’s got no way of showing either its bitterness or its numbingness with all these hops taking charge. However, I have to punish it points-wise simply for not being able to drink it all as some went down the sink, and some was a wooshed up sludge of muddy yeast that I had to leave in the bottle. Docking 1 point from the look because of that gushing aspect. This new house yeast - are you sure it’s a good thing?

33cl bottle. Darker orange and hazy liquid with small dirty white head. Nose : little tart, caramel, some hay aromas. Strong citrus , mango and pine. Sip : slick and oily, creamy body. Sweet start with tart flavors, developing a decent bitter citrus zest notes. It stays quite long. Overll it’s a really nice beer. Discovery.

Bottle in Nuetnigenough. A golden yellow beer, this felt less spicy than a traditional Belgian ale, and the style of hoppy bitterness more Anglo-Saxon to me. Pleasant and drinkable, but somehow didn’t feel rounded enough to be great.

750ml bottle. Cloudy orange with average frothy fading white head. Hoppy and yeasty aroma, citrus, bubblegum. Yeasty and hoppy taste, some citrus, a lasting dry note. Not overly complex, but solid and tasty Belgian Ale.

Sweetish mellow fruity flavor with a moderately bitter finish with some spicy hops and a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied. OK.

Bottle - 330ml. Hazy golden body with a decent off-white foamy/creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with citrusy and herbal hints. Its malty/hoppy taste carries grainy and coriander notes. Ends with a sharp sour finish.
