GUSHER. 330 ml bottle into a tulip glass. ABV 8.7% Huge white head, froathy, with low retention, leaving irregular lacing around the glass. The body is slightly hazy, the colour is a deep golden orange one. Very yeasty aroma, sugar, white grapes. Smells a bit sour. Tastes sour too. Nothing extreme but the sourness is definitely there, at least at first. After a while more flavours are surfacing, malts underneath, white grapes, sugar. Touches of fruits every now and then. Medium thin body, way too much carbonation. Overall a very mediocre tripel, I expected more of it.

Bottle at Fiere Margriet. Gusher I reckon. Looks lively when it arrived. Orange colour, and massive off white thick rocky head. Aroma is really herbal, sweet, pineapple, bit creamy. Taste is full on, fruity and lots of herbs again. Sweet but without the usual tripel kick. Delicate even. Head stays all the way down. Extra palate points for hiding the booze.

330 ml bottle at home. Pours light amber with a light creamy head. Malty nose with yeast notes (makes one think of a saison) and light sour lemon character and barnyard funk (Morpheus characteristic? I like it). Medium body with nice sweetness level, light bitterness but an agreeable hop profile. Taste is generally malt & honey. Soft tripel.

On tap at In De Wildeman. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is full of light fruits with apple coming through backed by sweet grain and Belgian yeast. Flavor has more sweet grains up front with some light fruit and a touch of Belgian yeast.

Bottle from Geers. Rather sour for a tripel. Fruits and hops. Not bad, not the best either. Long aftertaste.
