BBE FEB 2014 - Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma of toffee, caramel malts, yeast, spices and fruits. Taste is malty, yeasty and spicy with hints of toffee and caramel. Finish is sweetish and sticky with some maltiness and toffee. Quite sweet and malty for a tripel.

Bottle, at HaandFestival 2012. It pours an unclear, golden-orange body under a finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. Belgo-sweetish aroma, quite fruity and nicely hopped, pine cones and some grass and canned-tropical fruits. The flavor is maybe a bit too fruity-sweet, reminding me of the syrup of canned tropical fruit mix, but there’s a nice resiny and lightly peppery touch too. Some bitterness, growing stronger towards the end. Full body with pleasant carbonation. Overall, a nice beer, although a bit on the sweet side, even for my sweet tooth. 120504

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm) Deep golden colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of tropical fruit, honey, spices and marzipan. Malty, fruity taste with tropical fruit, marzipan, candy sugar, dried fruit and a mild, spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Very nice and well balanced tripel with a solid and rounded mouthfeel.

75cl Bottle @ Kulminator. 27072012. Darker hazy blond coloured beer with almost no carbonation and a medium white head. Yeasty banana fruity and suggary touched aroma with some light alcoholic hints. Full light creamy palate. Finish is strong yeasty with vanilla creamy touches. Nice.

(Bottled) Darkish amber (muddy medium brown with yeast) with a small head. Caramely-malty, quite alcoholic nose with herby, noble hops. Yeast brings anise spiciness in, and loses the alcohol. Flavor has lots of sweetish, caramely malt, some yeastiness, anise spiciness, aromatic hops, some solventy alcohol. With yeast it’s mostly, well, yeasty. Quite full body, lowish CO2, not very refreshing. Too heavy-caramely for a tripel, and slightly alcoholic despite the sweetness. 5337
Earlier Rating: 7/9/2012 Total Score: 3.8
(Bottled) Hazy amber with a small, lasting head. Caramely-malty nose with a touch of perfume and acidity. Caramely-malty flavor with perfumy floweriness, herby hops, and a dryish, spritzy finish. Medium to full body, low and soft CO2. A quite pleasant, perfumy-flowery and caramely-malty tripel (although not nearly a typical example of the style).

Major gusher, looks like a werthers original, cloudy light Brown and orange. Aroma is yeast and pork. Lots of brett. Thick milkshake quality, citrusy, pasty, earthy.
