COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep ruby brown hued, lightly hazy, artisanal Flemish sour ale. Expect soft toasty malt presence, a light sweetness, and a pronounced acidic tartness. A woody ale that’s remarkably tart! Yet still both gentle and bright. This mega-rare version is aged in French Monbazillac barrels, imparting a dry, woody, fruity, tart, strawberry like finish

Brown reddish colour, no head. Sour aroma, caramel, attic, burned sugar and overripe fruits. Quite sour flavour, light sweet, turning into really sour the more you sip. Flat. Sour finish, molasses.
Was hoping for a bit more from this one.

75cl bottle sample @ RBBWG 2013, bought at Alvinne biershop. Damn, was really looking forward to this one, but hell, flat and barely drinkable mess this was. BB 04/2017, lot#579. Sorry Alvinne, but this is so utterly disappointing.

Thx! to Seabass for this one. 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2013. Pours reddish brown, murky, lighter on the sides of the glass like vintage wine, quite weird, maybe due to sediment sinking down. Smells of sweet barrel, wine, wood, chocolate & cherries. Taste is woody, sweet, wine, caramel, chocolate, spices and some cherries. Flat. I was the only one to like this :(

Bottle 75cl from Fonefan thanks, a dark red beer without head. Nose is on passed yeast. Aroma is very acid, very dry, lot of red fruit astringency, wood like, note of dental infection, deep oily structure, very strange. Well not my cup of tea.
