On tap. Pours with a hazed deep brown body with a small tan head. Aromas are jammy, grape, sour, red wine, vinous. Medium esters and medium acidity. Dimetapp. Flavors of Dimetapp, grapes, medium sour, very vinous. Light leather notes. Lively bubbles, medium-dry.

Draft. Clear dark-brown body, minimal off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, grape juice, some Brett. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some Brett. Medium body, some stickiness.

Draft at Max’s. Clear orange-brown pour with a thin tan head. Fruity aroma, some cherry and grapes. Sour flavor. Grape juice with a bit of pepper. A bit acetic and undercarbonated.

3oz pour is a clear, copper amber which is almost purple in color with no head. Nose is tart, berries, woody, cognac, red wine, black berry. Flavor is tart, strawberry, red grapes, pinot barrels, bitter greens, light lemon. Medium bodied, tart finish.

hazy chestnut tan, thin white ring. Nose is jammy, grape skin, bit of earth, manure, hay. Flavor is dry skin at front, explosion of sweet jam mid, lots of berry, thin dry lactic finish, very low acetic character. Thin skin finish, compliments.

Sample Max’s Belgian beer fest. Pours clear, no head. Sour fruity aroma. Sharp tartness that mellows and is fairly complex. Different-- never had something like this.

Draft at Max’s in Baltimore. Murky purplish red color, small white head. Aroma of prunes, dates. Taste is sweet and sour summer fruit. Not bad.

Sweet red wine nose with lots of toffee and burnt sugar. Taste is similar plus lots of cherry.

Tap. Pours deep, dark brown with thin off white head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is sour dark fruit dominant with faint spice and earthy notes. Flavor is faint malt and hops with dominant sour esters; tart finish. Light body and warmth with medium carbonation.

Tap. Pours clear brown with a medium, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is light acetic grapes, biscuit and straw malt with floral hops. Flavor is malt forward with vinous notes, tart fruit and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.

Draft at Churchkey. Nose holds big concord grape jelly, a touch of raspberry, and good tart dark cherry presence. The flavor adds more fruit like currant, red grape, and some vinous notes. Light and palatable. Decent.
