Bottle. A dark brown beeer topped by a small, dense, beige head. The aroma has vinegar hints, some notes of dried fruits, berries and roasted malts, and it’s all quite weak. The flavor has pretty much the same elements as the aroma, berries, dried fruits, roasted malts and a touch of vinegar. Also some almost sour milk like notes. Medium to full body, dry and lightly sourish on the palate. Definitely less wild than expected, quite ordinary and boring actually. 110610

Botella. Dark brown colour. Sour sweet caramel malty aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet with dark caramel, a pleasant sourness and dark fruits.

Bottle from Belgisk Bryg. Dark brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt and fruit with a sour finish.

Dark reddish brown colour with small tan head. Sour and tart berries, chocolate and mild malt in aroma. Malt, sourness and tartness in flavour. Thin and not that balanced.

Dark brown body, light brown head. Aroma has some chocolate and vinegar. Very grainy and woody flavours with sour berries. Light roasted ash on background. Ashy mouthfeel. Thinish.

33 cl bottle. Nose is between vinous (pinot noir) and tart (gueuze, spontneous fermentation). A little roast as well. Taste is rather on the sour side, which is nice as such, but I like a bit more the balance with sweetness, that is missing in here...

Flaske 0,33l delt med Rune på Bierbrasserie Cambrinus i Brugge 4 Mai 11. Dyp brun / sort. Lavt skum. Svakt syrlig aroma. Gjennomført syrlig - “surøl-light karakter”. God men ikke ekstrem.
