Wild pour, opened the bottle and it erupted into the pint glass, brown wild ale. Taste of berries, and other fruits, slightly acidic. Smell delicious, oaky. Quite sour. Very enjoyable.

I love wild beers, they are always, funky, spicey and a tad bit different. This one is no exception. It’a kind of vlaams oud bruin, with that special Alvinne touch.

yellow beige head that disappears quickly without lacing. cola coloured. aroma of wood, leather, vinous/tannins, metallic/iron also a hint of red fruit like cherries. taste is like the aroma but with a bitter/wry finish. mouthfeel is slight spicy, medium carbonation and body. unlike any other oud bruin i have tasted, strange but interesting as well. slight gusher when opening. bottle 33 cl - best before march 2014

Bottled @ Drie Dorstige Herten. Hazy ruby color, short head. Aroma has cherries, some tartness, bit metallic, hint of chocolat. Soft sour taste, bit thin. It has potential, but it also has some off-flavors like the metallic notes. Might be a bit older bottle and better drank fresh?

750ml bottle [gusher]. Murky brown colour with huge, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, beige/brown head. Fruity aroma has notes of dark berries, plum, blue grapes, a biting spicy yeasty touch. Taste is minimally fruity sourish, vinegar, a touch of balsamico, somewhat narrow, dry and astringent in the finish.
