750ml bottle [gusher]. Murky brown colour with huge, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, beige/brown head. Fruity aroma has notes of dark berries, plum, blue grapes, a biting spicy yeasty touch. Taste is minimally fruity sourish, vinegar, a touch of balsamico, somewhat narrow, dry and astringent in the finish.

A bit of a gusher. Somewhat hazy dark red brown colour, huge airy beige head. Aroma of red fruits, malt, caramel, roasted malt and citric acid. Light sour flavour, roasted malts, light berries. Very fizzy. Finish sour berries, red fruit and citric acid. Lingering orange peel and tea hints.

Bottle at Cafe DeRat. Pours dark brown with a huge bubbly tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, dough, overripe fruit, a touch of funk and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet, bitter and acidic. Medium bodied with light moderate carbonation.

33 cl bottle. gusher. Dark brown body with a very large brown head. Very strong alcohol aroma with some yeast hints and sourness. Soft carbonation. *

(33 cl bottle) Dark brown almost black, and opaque, with a big beige head. Aroma has roasted malts and caramel, but mainly fruity, vinous and acidic components - like balsamic vinegar, madeira, raisins, grapes - plus some wet stone and oak barrels. No hops discernible. Taste is tart and acidic and luckily has very little sweetness. Works well here. Light body, average carbonation. Good balance, though not hugely complex.

33cl Bottle, tasted during Scotland trip with Robin and Stefaan. Complete gusher. Dark brown coloured beer with some medium carbonation and a medium brown head. Sour fruity yeasty hinted aroma. Medium to full palate; Finish is sour sweet fruity light malty. Medium.

(gusher - be prepared) hazy-murky light brown with a very small light beige head, very little retention or lacing. vinous characteristics - woody, some acidity, red grapes... demerara, few acetic notes, some awkward roasted notes. average carbonation, light body - slightly watery, decent grassy-citrusy-spicy finish. defects aside - almost enjoyable!

Bouteille de 330 ml obtenue via Importations Privées Bièropholie. Arôme: Légère odeur de fruit sûrette. Apparence: La couleur est brune avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un moyen col beige mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de petit fruit et de caramel. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement vineuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de cerise sûrette en arrière goût. (Rating #4595)

(bottle, 33cl, without gushing!) Hazy, dark brown colour with a ruby shine and a big and beige foamy head. Yeasty, pronounced dark malty aroma with caramel, mildly berry fruity notes and a touch of vinegary acidity in the background. Moderately sweet and delicately sour-tart flavour, medium to light bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Moderately toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, liquorice, cellar and a rather restrained fruity touch; dry toast-malty finish with hints of chocolate and a mildly sour-fruity touch, which is finally quite lingering. 11.I.13

Explosion of beer and foam when opened. Murky brown unattractive colour, but very nice yeasty wildy aroma and delicate sour taste.
