In short: A dry rustic and hoppy Saison with a strong (and very unusual) fir character. Original and very good.
How: Bottle 330ml. 1 year of age or so.
The look: A large white head over a cloudy dark blonde body with some particles
In long: Pleasant nose with light barnyard notes and juniper. In mouth the juniper really moves upfront, to the point of tasting like a fir dipped in beer. Dry dusty yeast with a nice rustic character. Lots of spicy hops. Some pineapples, bananas and citrus. Pleasant tartness. This beer really tastes like chewing on my Christmas tree while drinking a Saison Dupont Vieille Provision. No kidding. And it’s about the less stupid thing I do when I’m drunk during the winter holidays.

pours slightly hazy very bright golden with a towering white head, excellent retention/lacing. light acidity, lemon, citrus, light caramel, white wine, white port, dry very fruity - tropicalness, juniper. light boozy finish, light pepper. lively, medium body - oily, very nice grassy-citrusy finish. old bottle.

330 ml bottle a hazy dark golden yellow colored beer with a white head aroma malts apple white fruits citrus and yeast flavor malts fruits citrus yeast spice and some bitters

A hazed golden saison with a thick collapsing white head, floaties, some gunk in the opening, gushed. In aroma, very mineral salts, with light juniper, oxidized notes. In mouth, still decent, with some nice oily biscuit malt, astringent spices, some gin notes, but oxidation comes in finale. OK. Bieropholie imports, forgotten in my fridge, BB May 2010.

Pours a hazy yellowish/gold color. Aromas of tart fruit, bread, hint of citrus, and yeasty. Flavor is malty/citrus. Leaves a yeasty orange aftertaste. Almost like a Belgian Wit.

Fruchtiger Geruch, etwas süßlich-hefig, bananige Note. Hopfiger Antrunk, dabei leicht süßlich. Im Hintergrund baut sich eine herbe Note auf, die aber erst im Nachgeschmack zum Zuge. Dort ist das Bier recht würzig, die Süße macht das Bier zusätzlich süffig. Test vom 4.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,9,10,-,9 - 9,15

Bottle. Color hazy dark yellow with medium lasting head. Aroma hop, spicy, fruits. Taste yeast, fruit, spicy, citrus, dry.

Fløska. Hazy deep golden. Fruity sweet yeasty bit spiced aroma. Yeasty, fruity bit spiced and bit tart flavour. Sweet fruity yeasty finish.

Fra flaske, dufter af gær, lidt grumset men en ok appearance, smager egentlig ok, lidt fylde. en ok øl

Bottle. Hazy golden with a big white head. Oranges, berries, fresh fruit and spicy yeast in the aroma. Highly carbonated. Yeasty and estery flavour with notes of citrus and oranges. Quite dry finish. Nice.
