Bottle, at HaandFestival 2012. An unclear, orange-golden beer topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Citrus peel, pinecones, malty sweetness and white sugar on the nose. Lightly sweet on the palate, with pale malts, orange peel, pine cones and a nice bitterness. Full-bodied, semi-sweet and nicely carbonated, with bitterness and citrus peel in the end. A nice one, but a tad too sweet to be quenching. 120504

330ml Bottle: best before Feb 2014, poured into a Westmalle chalice on 5th Aug 2012. Cloudy orange body, more cloudy after the sediment was added just before the end of my tasting. On top sat a big, soft off-white head of foam. The smell was of oranges soaked in coriander and peaches: so a fruity aroma then. The taste was also fruity with oranges again leading the way: different and interesting. Not really my ’thing’ but enjoyable all the same.

Sampled from bottle @ HaandBryggeriet Beer Festival 2012. Hazy orange body with a small off-white head. Nice aroma of fruity hops and oranges. Flavor is sweet malt, light caramel, fruit and balanced bitterness. Medium body and a pleasant bitterness in aftertaste. A nice and easy bitter with a quaffable refreshing fruity bitter taste.

33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere.
Pours hazy amber color with small head. Aroma of spices, soap, barnyard notes and yeast. Flavour of yeast, lemon, spices, soap and some mild malts. Quite far from a traditional bitter, interesting though.
