Hazy medium orange color with a large, frothy - open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, UK hops and belgium yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100924]

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a huge fluffy yellowish head - over carbonated. The aroma has notes of coriander, malt, and lemon. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, malt, coriander, and lemon, leading to a dry finish.

Papsoe (22946) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2010
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Plovmand. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a frothy white head. Yeasty, spicy nose. Thin body, fruity and yeasty, some vitamin c, rather dry, phenollic and astringent finish. Has absolutely nothing to do with a Bitter - whatsoever. This is a rather poor low alcohol Belgian ale. 280710

(330ml bottle, Lot: 492, BB Jul 2012) Pours a hazy golden orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of florals, grass, earth, and Alvinne’s signature Morpheus yeast. Flavor of lemongrass, earth, yeast, herbs, and florals. I know my naked ladies!

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2010 Bottle at CP&K, Pimlico. Thanks to Ken. Belgian yeast, cloudy orange gold. It’s more a Belgiany light beer, some bitterness on the finish. Drinkable. Nice Belgian bitter. 637313 3.2/5.0. Re-rate. Bomber Bottle from Glenn at Alvinne. Unmistakable Belgian estery aroma, which I have to admit, I do like a lot. There is also the promise of peppery English hops and some biscuity malt as well. There aren’t too many Belgian/British fusion beers out there, Struise Schommelpaird was a particular favourite, and this one works really well as well. It is really does combine the best of British with the best of Belgium. Rather amazed it is only 4.4%. Rather a good English bitter done Belgian style.

TBone (9405) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 17, 2010
Bottled (Alvinne shop, BB 07/2012)
Hazy amber color, huge beige head, lace. Fresh wood hoppyness in the nose. Light bodied. Fruity British hoppy bitter with distinct Belgian fruity yeastyness. Sweet fruityness (lychee, white grapes) and lingering hoppyness in the aftertaste. Troubled beer: not work well as an English session bitter and is a bit too watery for being a decent Belgian blonde.
