Gusher alert ! 500ml bottle. No foam, no head ("Stillwater"). Bourdeaux wine finish, lambic, fruity, green apples. Very intruiging nose. Taste is pretty much in line with a good sour beer, as is the finish. Great wild beer, appearence a bit unappealing but the fine nose more than compensate this.

Bottle. Pours murky brown with minimal white head. Looks like swamp water. Smells very strongly of apples, apples pie- cinnamon, nutmeg. Has a good sourness, nothing overwhelming. A definite apple flavor going on, rich, thick, good oak finish. Really solid beer, would definitely get again!

An unclear dark golden beer.No head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, wood, vinegar, grapes, and malt. The flavor is sweet with brettanomyces, malt, caramel, wood, and a bit of vinegar, leading to a dry and tart finish. The body is light.

On draft at rustic (Ballston). review from notes. The beer is copper hued with a tiny head. Minimal lacing. The aroma brings some lactic funk, oak, barrel presence, wine, grapes, perhaps some berries. Sour and funky with grape skins. Mild fruity sweetness. Easy drinking. A solid beer. I’d have it again.
