Tap. Pours clear golden yellow/orange with small white head. Aroma is welches white grape juice, oak, funk. Taste has medium sourness/acidity, white grape juice again, lots of the wine barrel present. Would definitely drink again.

On tap at BeerTemple. Clear dark gold pour with thin white head. Aroma is quite lactic, plain yogurt, oak, light lemony aromas. Taste is sour, quite lactic, oaky, slightly puckering. Palate is dry, light carbonation but mineral dryness contributes to giving it a spritzy sensation. Pretty good.

Pours a murky hazed amber with ruby notes. from bottle. Shelf turd. Aromas of some yogurt sourness and a pretty big slab of wood. Taste is pretty two dimensional - wood and lactic sourness. Not much dark druit to speak of. Not much of anything. Not even very tart. No barnyard, no funk. Just wood, wood and a dose of sour milk. Pretty tame.

Aroma of tart white grape, lemon peel, apricot, and slight vinegar. Pours bright orange with very little carbonation. Taste is apricot, lemon, and a sweet caramel malt. Nice tartness to the mouth but sweet without heavy acidity. Easy sipping sour.

Backlog bottle thanks to so many good ratebeerians. The look is cloudy, no head, and golden in color. The smell is tart, oranges, some funk, wood, and fruits. The taste is nice sour, very acidic, and good.

First off thanks to Matt at the Coop. Wild west is a golden bond ale that after spending 8 months in wooden Bordeaux barrels is much more amber/orange color. It seems like it needs a bit more time to age and mellow out. Flavor is obvious sour cherries that again i think needs time to reach its peak.

Gusher alert ! 500ml bottle. No foam, no head ("Stillwater"). Bourdeaux wine finish, lambic, fruity, green apples. Very intruiging nose. Taste is pretty much in line with a good sour beer, as is the finish. Great wild beer, appearence a bit unappealing but the fine nose more than compensate this.
