bottle @ kulminator. pours clear orange, white foam. 09 vintage smells bitter with a weird touch to it ( age?) very carbonated ( dissapointing for struise-standards here) the probably once dominating hoppy taste has faded more in the background in this vintage. bitter, sweetness.. dont get a lot due to the extremely high carbo ( duvel times 3 !! ) hoppy aftertaste. this beer would be better with less carbo for sure! , prob its also gotten a bit to old. ytet , despite all this, its still a nice drink

Slightly cloudy amber with a big and lasting off-white head. Aroma has citrus and grassy hops, with a distinct brett note. Dry malt and hops flavour with brett and citrus notes.

Bottled (thanks fonefan). Hazy deep amber colour, huge white head. Aroma is fruits, wood and some mild herbal notes. Flavour is sour fruits, wood and some caramel as well as very sweet malts and some mild berryish notes in the finish. Rather fresh and thick flavours that ends like in a wall. Technically no aftertaste, which kind of sucks. Excellent while it lasts though.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of joergen/MiP/yespr. Label claims 7.8% ABV. Clear amber golden with a small, rough off-white head. Fresh, peachy hop aroma. Medium body, roasted malt and fruit but again dominated by marvellous peachy hops that leave the finish to be dry and bitter. Delicious. One of very few successful Belgian/US hybrids. 200309

Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy, dark red amber with a huge off-white head. Lovely apple and citrus hop aroma, blended with grass and yeast. Flavours are very bitter indeed, lots of apples. The complexity of the aromas are somewhat lost in the mouth, though. Still, a great Belgian IPA (if there is such as thing).

Bottle at Pre ZBF, Alvinne, 06-03-09 Pours warm golden colour. The first taste lets forth an explosion of hops and honey sweet malts, with tangy grapefruit and lemon rind as well. The aroma is fine, bit citric but too be honest not quite as one would expect from the flavour. The bitterness hangs in little stalacmites from the roof of the mouth, a wonderful beer and quite a change having had this after the big impy stouts. A6 P4 F8 P4 OV17 3.9

Bottle from Cracked Kettle. Dark orange body with thinnish, poppy head. Hoppy nose with grapefruit and orange notes. Taste of malts and lots of fruits--grapefruit in evidence. Nice warming, dry and hoppy finish. Piney too. A delight. And another joint venture well done. Only criticism is the texture is a bit rough.

Copper colored beer with a white head. Hoppy aroma. Notes of citrus. Balanced ouitspoken bitterness with some fruitiness and notes of malty sweetness. Medium bodied.

bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. poured a murky amber/gold with a cream head. nose is caramel, citrus hops and some esters. nice thickness and the flavor is piney hops along with a smooth caramel finish.

Bottle at Gainsbar. Orange/golden colour with massive beige frothy head. Aroma is hops, herbs and spices and fruit. Touch of brett too. Very lively from the bottle. Taste is fruity, peach, citrus, orange sherbert, mango. Finish is quite bitter and very fruity, tangerine maybe. Slightly herbal/floral taste too.
