A Triple that’s not as pale as usual and has a bronze tan. Aroma is pretty funky and a bit earthy and rustic , with a bit of a Saison/Bier ’ de garde character. Fruity and spicy smellz. Earth and subtle barnyard and lotta malt evident. Flavaz open malty rich , leading to dry mustiness and a complex fruit (green apple.peach) type of esters kick ..and pretty tart , spicy cloying finish . a throwback to the old rusticity of things. . This is cool. maybe my bottle is infected or maybe its just a very wacky beer not brewed to style. Vibrant , funky and very drinkable .

Bottle almost explodes on opening, huge gusher, only halve a beer left. Remains are dark yellowish orange, huge off white head, floaties. Aroma is wine, yeast and fruits, some sourness. Flavour is bitter and sour of fruits, yeast, some spices. Weird but nice.

Bottle from Bier Temple in Brussels. Pours orange gold with a foamy off-white head. Interesting aroma. Rather citrus, but something a bit solvent? Or citrus oil? Medium body with really foamy carbonation. Flavor is bready, citrusy, and flowery! It is bitter - as bitter in the finish as would be grapefruit threads. A strong flavored beer. A very different beer. Another surprising gem from Alvinne.

TaxiDriver (1472) - Stadland, GERMANY - MAR 30, 2010
Bottle. A fruity aroma, some grapefruit and citrus, also some bread. The small white fizzy head disappears fast, the body is cloudy and orange. The taste is fruity-sour, reminds me of juice, kind of strange. The body is light to medium strong and dry without a lot of carbonation.

Bov (9556) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 11, 2010
from crackedkettle.com - brutal gushing leaving barely half of the bottle left to drink; cloudy and very unclean orange colour; solid and long lasting pale beige foam; nice lacework; estery, dusty and very fruity aroma (apple and banana), light notes of caramel; overcarbonated and very sweet; juicy palate and with a good malt backbone; moderate bitterness and a long sweetish and fruity, yeasty finish

altonbrownd (3681) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JAN 30, 2010
Bottle from Bierkoning. Hazy golden body with tall head. Nose of caramel and sweets, also some ginger. Quite sharp texture, with hops and caramel. Warms and gets spicier towards the finish. Nice one, as always, from Alvinne.

blankboy (6081) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 29, 2010
Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o garthicus. Pours a murky orange with a small diminishing bubbly off-white head. Aroma is yeasty and herbal along with tropical and citrus fruit. Slightly watery flavour of sweet malt, citrus, light spices and herbs. Average bodied. Quite average.

Bottle. It pours a diminishing off-white head over a hazy, orange-golden body. Slightly herbal on the nose, some citrus and sweetness, mostly fruityness. The flavor is pretty much the same, citrusy, fruity and with malty sweetness. Fine bitterness in the finish. Medium body. A good beer that doesn’t impress, but it’s easy to drink, too easy maybe considering the ABV. 090828
