From bottle at Alvinne. Pours slight hazy brown and with almost no head. Aroma is light spiced. Flavour goes into a light spiced and light caramel malt flavour. Ends solid spiced, slight too spiced for my for liking - still good.

UPDATED: FEB 29, 2008 Bottle (as Gertrudis Tripel)
Gusher. Muddy orange body. Off-white creamy/fizzy head. Ok lace. Aroma of orange with some caramel. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour with some citric hints (and anise). Quite watery and tart. Not very intense, nor complex. This is not what I would call a tripel, but I don’t mind too much about styles.

Bottle @ Plan B, Cph. [Vintage 2003]
Pours a muddy deep orange (I probebly got most of the yeast?). A medium head on top. Aroma is sweet malty with a good fruity oranges edge to it. Mouthfeel is rather chewy. Sweet flavour with a little caramel and some fruitiness. Not much, though.

Pale orange with a huge rocky lasting and lacing head. Sweet and fruity, more than other tripels I’ve sampled. (except one perhaps, one i’ve never considered a real tripel) With a dry and spicy finish. Nice.

Bottle: Poured a copper brown amber with a bubbly white head. Sweet fruit aroma. The taste was similar with a rich fruit and malt flavor. Finished dry and hoppy.
