Semi opaque dark red - amber beer. Palate is dry and crisp . Good Flemish Red sourness. Whisper of caramel, well buried. Tangy red berry fruits, trace of violets. Light crisp dry finish. Not bad. Pretty sour, about as much as I would want.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Haand Festival. It pours an uncleaer, light brown body under a finger-thick dark beige head leaving lacings. The aroma has balsamic vinegar, some caramel and funk, lemon juice, prunes and raisins. It’s dry and puckering on the palate, medium to full-bodied, and with a bit too much carbonation. Caramel sweetness in the flavor, some dried fruits too, but it’s the funk and balsamic vinegar that runs the show. Lasting finish. A nice one indeed, and even though it leans towards vinegar I don’t find it too much. 130525

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, bought @ Bierhalle Dekoninck, Vichte.
Pours deep dark brown with no real head. Aroma has grapes, red wine, oak, tannins, light vinegar, red apple zest. Medium carbonation, fine dry and fairly oily mouthfeel. Flavour has good fruity tartness at first, grapes and apple zest, light vanilla. Firm tartness with citric and light vinegar. Quite red wine-like. Firm tartness in the finish. I like it.
