Almost unhopped brown ale, the base beer for Morpheus Wild and Kerasus, undressed for the fans of the true "oud bruin" style.

Pours a dark brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of toasted malts, sour berries and dough. Flavour of sour berries, dough, nuts, grapes and some citric tartness. Light bodied, thinnish mouthfeel and a finish of sour berries and some nuttiness. A bit weird and thin.

BBE Jan 2017 - Pours dark brown, almost black with a foamy head. Aroma of sour berries, syrup, caramel malts and some hints of leather. Taste is quite untypical with some sour berries, tart fruits, syrup, caramel and juicy notes. Finish is smooth and carbonated with some tart fruits. Quite strange.

Color: very dark brown with hints of red. Beige head that nearly disappears. The nose reminds me a bit of Rodenbach Grand Cru: bit of balsamic vinegar, cola, sour cherries, iron. Palate: starts pretty sour, then appears a light bitterness and quite a lot of dry notes. A kind of a "strict" and sharp beer, but quite complex. The finish is medium long. Mittellanger Abgang.

Bottleat home in Skövde. Dark amber beer with a minimal beige head. Malty, berries a bit sourish aroma with lingonberries ( do they called that?). Similar flavour with some leather notes. I liked this strange beer.

On tap at The Lion’s Pride. Came to the table a slightly hazy brown with a thin tan head that slowly dissipates to a ring. Smells of oak, vanilla, caramel, and ethanol with a hint of tart. The flavor is not what I expected based on the nose with a heavy tart cherry and lemon thing with caramel edges going on. Light body with a moderate level of carbonation and a tart almost chalky mouthfeel. This was not my favorite is all tart and a little funk with no balance.

Bottled, thanks rlgk! Hazy dark ruby/brown, faint head. Tart lingonberry aroma. Some coffee, notes of rubber. Light bodied, clean mouthfeel, almost no carbonation. Sour with some sulphur in a tinny finish.

Bottle. Amber/brown beer with a small beige head. Vinous aroma, sourish, leather, grapes, malty, rubber notes. Vinous fruity flavor, grapefruit, sweetish, some rubber. A bit flat and thin.

Bottle at Nuetnigenough, Bruxelles
Dark brown color with red hue; large head, but short retention. The aroma is typical Alvinne, with roasted malt and moderate acidity, meaty. The mouthfeel is dry, and more weak than expected; mild flavor of roasted malt, but not enough flavor, while the moderate sourness is nice; being without hops, the final is rather short, and dry, not for this bad.
Overall, it lacks of flavors, but it’s still a very enjoyable beer, with a degree of complexity and elegance.

29/V/2012 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: I/17 (2012-552)

Cloudy dark brown beer, big beige to yellow head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: chloride, rotten fruits, soapy, vegetable soup, in all: very unpleasant. MF: lots of carbon, light to medium body. Taste: tart green apples, then nasty rotten grain or fruits taking over, chloride as well. Aftertaste: green sour apples, bit metallic, lemon peel. I hope so hard that something went wrong AFTER botteling.

A - 3 finger slight yellow head. Big and small bubbles. Dark red dark brown. Slight haze. SRM of 35

S - is this a sour or a lager? Mild cherry. Some dark fruits. Soap?

T - Old vinegar full of dark fruits but not in a good way. Dirty socks. Granny smith at the finish.

M - 50:50 carb. Light body. Slick finish. Slight acidic finish.

O - Yeah. 45/100 for me. Ugh.
