3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sayravai (4490) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 3, 2012
(Bottled) Another Alvinne gusher. Hazy golden with a huge head. Bisquity-malty nose with a touch of caramely fudge, and some tart wild-yeastiness. Flavor is moderately bitter with herby hops, lots of yeast, some tartness and a touch of ashtray. Light to medium body, high and foamy CO2. Not as fresh and pleasant as the Freaky, with ashy bitterness lingering in the finish. 4444
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 suprchunk (768) - Heinsberg, GERMANY - JAN 26, 2012
Another gusher from Alvinne. Hazy golden colored pour. Giant white head. Looks like egg whites. Huge lacing. Hoppy aroma. Slight chalk aroma. Big hoppy taste. Malty. Way better than it looked spilling on my counter.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 77ships (714) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JAN 1, 2012
33 cl. bottle @ home – purchased at Beer Planet: as usual with Alvinne beers this one is a gusher but it is not as bad as with some of their other beers, pours a murky orange, light brown hued, first glass is pure head no matter how slowly you poor it, took about 15 min. for it to settle to a drinkable size, smell is grass, floral, hay & bitter fruits (melon, kiwi,…), taste is definitely a lovely bitterness upfront, very English, English hops, yeast, kiwi, melon, bitter, going to grass & floral bitterness in the finish, hay, very English, very nice, definitely one of their better beers, reminds me a bit of Thornbridge Kipling which is a beer that the brewers of Alvinne love quite a lot
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 skortila (4032) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - OCT 17, 2011
Bottled. The aroma is quite malty, yeasty and a little flowery. Hazy, copper coloured beer with an off-white, enormous head. We have a gusher ....
The taste has a nice bitterness, light caramel malty body, but imo there is a bit too much carbonation and yeast.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 altonbrownd (3408) - Brussels, BELGIUM - OCT 5, 2011
Bottle from Beer Planet. Hazy amber body with huge head. Nose of bitter and hops. Really nice bitter nose. Taste of hops. Citrus and hops flavours. Really nice.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Martinus (651) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - SEP 25, 2011
Good combination between a british Bitter and Belgium (Morpheus) yeast. Amber yellow colour, white lasting head. Aroma of hops, some lemon, light but pleasant fruitiness, malty background. Good hop flavour, slight malt sweetness, light bitterness. Rather thin but lively palate, as expected. Nice yeast tones. Finish dry and floral with some lingering bitterness. Nice refreshing bitter.
(From 33cL bottle)

Deep, bit hazy orange colour, huge off white head. Smells yeasty, wrong, bad, scary, cellar, old and sour. Tastes bit unfresh, musty, cellar and very sharp. Light carbo.
