COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unfiltered beer containing aromatic wheat which confers its fruity and acidulous taste. It is a beer which undergoes two successive high fermentations. The use of wheat gives to the product an excellent foam behaviour as well as a pale and opalescent color.

Bottled version. Pours a light yellow with eggy white head that goes quick. The aroma is slight. The flavor is of watered down lemonade. Nice carbonation and mouthfeel. A highly drinkable and refreshing summer brew.

75cl bottle, K-Supermarket, Vantaa. Poured hazy yellow color with a frothy huge white head. Aroma is a lemon, lemon and some spices. Flavour similar, slightly acid. High carbonation. Very refreshing on a warm day. Would have wanted some more flavor besides lemon for dimension, but overall a nice witbier.

Supercan, at l’Autre Oeil. In a sentence : for what it is, it’s good, really good. It’s basically a thirst/quenching beach beer. Aroma is mainly citrus (but has nothing to do with hops) and mint. There IS definitely malt in this one, but not much. Extremely light bodied -- the citrus takes prety much at all the place. Quite carbonated as well. While you can taste the wheat, I wouldn’t classify this one a wheat beer at all. Fruit Beer?

Supercan. Cloudy pale yellow with a thin white ring on top. Aroma of cooked noodles and lemonade. Yeeeesh. Weak wheaty flavour with artificial lemon accents. Not my thing.

750ml bottle -

Aroma - lemony/citrus/minty thing going on in the aroma...lacking the peppery/spicy character I enjoy in wit’s...citrus seems to trump everything else.

Appearance - bright, bright yellow, cloudy body with an enormous bright white head

Taste - heavy on the citrusy/lemon notes, which was very refreshing but got tiring after a bit...again, lacking anything else other than the obvious citrus angle

Palate - even handed, light bodied, crisp finish...nothing lingering

Overall - a bit pricey @ $10 a bottle, but I can see if someone enjoys their wit’s on the citrusy side, then this would be a huge hit.

Minty coriander nose. Shimmering yellow, thick white puffy head. Coriander flavor, but with an unpleasant mintiness that lingers on the palate. Not a good representation of the style, fair to middlin’ beer.

Not the best white I’ve had. It’s good and drinkable but the flavors are not subtle. The citrus really overwhelmed it but I didn’t mind the taste. It was just a little different. Not bad but again I have had many better white’s then this.

750 ml bottle 3/31/10 (Binny’s Plainfield)-43° in Snifter. Pours a cloudy yellowish orange. Aroma of coriander, citrus, and wheat. Taste of mild spices, coriander, and wheat. This light bodied brew is way light in both body and flavors for most wits. Was expecting more.

75cl bottle labeled Amadeus. Pours pale yellow with a decent white head and a rather nondescript aroma. There is a thin wheat flavor with some carbonation. It’s quite refreshing, but there’s not a lot of flavor, nor does it seem to contain much of the spice typical of a witbier.

I had this last night while celebrating WVU’s win and watching Cornell go down to Kentucky in sweet 16 play. Basketball was much more enjoyable than this beer. Cloudy straw with creamy white with pancake head. Aroma is citrus, clove, coriander, yeast, medium sweet. Orange, sweetness, yeasty, spice. Thin and watery. $10 for this bomber was not worth it.
