COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unfiltered beer containing aromatic wheat which confers its fruity and acidulous taste. It is a beer which undergoes two successive high fermentations. The use of wheat gives to the product an excellent foam behaviour as well as a pale and opalescent color.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2003 While driving through the back roads of France we stoped at a supermarket and found this. When I finally opened it I couldn't believe it. Cloudy, yellow color, creamy head. Spicy, Vanilla aroma. Citrus taste with strong spicy flavor. My favorite Wheat Beer with a good dash of a musty funkyness. Solid although no longer my number 1

Smells like orange peel, a bit of coriander. This is nice. Light, crisp, a good orange flavor throughout, but not that of orange juice. Quite refreshing. A good bubbly flavor. One of the best Belgian whites that I’ve had, in my opinion it seems a bit underrated.

I really like this one. It pours with a very light, but slightly cloudy yellow and a clean white head. The taste is super light and refreshing, and a welcome beer on a very warm day.

Very good, refreshing beer--a lighter version of a Wit, with an interesting peach/mango aroma and subtaste. Not as heavy or estery as a Hoegaarden but in its own right, Amadeus is a fabulous white, and i’d definitely drink it again (though it IS pricey)

Not the best white I’ve had. It’s good and drinkable but the flavors are not subtle. The citrus really overwhelmed it but I didn’t mind the taste. It was just a little different. Not bad but again I have had many better white’s then this.

Pale hazed yellow, decent foamy white head, really just about perfect appearance for the style. Aroma was wheat, citrus, and coriander, not exciting, but pretty much spot on. Initial orange flavor moves into a very light bodied, slightly soapy wheat beer, with coriander on the finish. Really quite nicely done. You could knock the soapy quality, but I just don’t mind that in a wit.
