English: Here on Amager island we are as blessed with Amager Fælled (Amager Common), a beautiful piece of nature with fantastic animal and bird life. Actually, there is no other place in Europe where there are such large open spaces near such a big city, now a subway even takes you almost directly into the bird’s song. Amager Common has a history as both a place of execution and for the testing of military weapons, but nowadays you hardly meet anything more controversial than joggers, birdwatchers and little children in shorts.
When you visit this rustic paradise, do it like this golden ale from Amager Brewery by bicycle or subway tunnel. With its clean malt sweetness and its gentle and floral hop tones it is the beer created to quench the thirst out here in Amager’s free and beautiful scenery.

31-DEC-2009, bottle from "Fish & Beer". Golden with nice white head. Very nice beer with honey and flowers. -and of course since it is Amager Bryghus, a lovely bitter ending with the hops kicking in. New years eve. Had it with "koldskål" for dessert. The flavors went perfect with the vanilla and citrus of of the koldskål, though perhaps the carbonation was a bit too high to pair well with the food.

50 cl bottle, Citymarket. Pours a hazy yellow color with a thin white head that dissapears almost immediately. Aroma is quite fruity and of flowers. Flavour is very nice of elderflowers and citrus, nice hoppy finish. Very refreshing, probably tastes even better on a hot summer day.

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2011 Bottle at the Danish Summer Gathering. It is a hazy yellow-golden beer with a white head. Citrusy, piney hops blends nicely with malty notes in the aroma. The flavor has a sweetness to balance the citrusy, piney hops, but it’s not as nice as the aroma. Not much difference though. Medium body with a good hop bite. Lasting finish with medium bitter finish. A pleasant and easy drinkable beer. Rating: 6-3-6-3-13-3.1. 090822

Bottle. It pours ann almost clear body, pale golden in color and with a minimal sized white head. Fruity nose, yellow apples mostly, slightly sourish and with pale malts. Fruity flavor with a little sweetness, slightly malty sour, with lemon zest and bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Some metal in the else bitter finish. A boring one, but also a refreshing one. 110107

Bottle 50 cl. Average fin white head that mostly lasted. Fine display of lacework. Slightly cloudy yellow color. Aroma of honey, elderflower, mild citrus and hint of flower and fruity notes. Over the palate came light sweet caramel like notes. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with what could appear as mild bitterness. Citrus fresh fruity finish. Nice thirst cruncher and summer beer.
