COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Here on Amager island we are as blessed with Amager Fælled (Amager Common), a beautiful piece of nature with fantastic animal and bird life. Actually, there is no other place in Europe where there are such large open spaces near such a big city, now a subway even takes you almost directly into the bird’s song. Amager Common has a history as both a place of execution and for the testing of military weapons, but nowadays you hardly meet anything more controversial than joggers, birdwatchers and little children in shorts.
When you visit this rustic paradise, do it like this golden ale from Amager Brewery by bicycle or subway tunnel. With its clean malt sweetness and its gentle and floral hop tones it is the beer created to quench the thirst out here in Amager’s free and beautiful scenery.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, honey, elderflower, hops and yeast

Pours hazy golden with small white head. Aroma of ash and basement (good example to the right). Taste is dry bitter with some discrete yeast. Its hard to describe, but it taste a bit like ash to - in a good way. The long dry bitter finish is better than the aroma and taste. Its not bad and its not the best, but its a bit different.

Bottle batch 814, bbf June 2015. Hazy yellow with a medium sized white head. Citrus, dough, floral, wood/earthy, hay. Light/medium body, thin texture, soft carbonation, light sweet, little bitterness. Short and thin in the finish. Overall a bit thin and shy on flavour, but drinkable enough.

Fra flaske på Mandag i Annen mai-14: en frisk og god mainstream øl med floral aroma og lett bitterhet. Et snev av honningsødmeog hyllebær sniker seg inn. Helt ok uten å utfordre.

Bottle. Yellow, light haze. Pale malty, slight husky. Some green, light leafy hops, touch of meadow. Light body. As a lighter drink quite nice. Crafty. Could confuse it with a light craft lager though.

500 ml bottle, batch #747, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, low white head. Strong sweetish aroma of new-mown grass, flowers and honey. Refreshing flavour, not too sweet, with moderate floral (elderflowers) and citrussy notes, subtle hops, hints of honey, low bitterness. I know this is not intended to be a very hoppy beer, but a little more bittering hops would not hurt.

50 cl. bottle, batch # 747. Hazy, golden colour with a dense, white head. Fruity aroma with grasses, light elderflower, honey, citrus and floral hops. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with grasses, bread, fruits and floral notes. Refreshing and enjoyable.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2014 Hiukan liian hiivainen. Hyvä haju kuitenkin, eikä makukaan pöllömpi. Erittäin hiilihappoinen. Aivan mukava. Terassilla rauhassa joo.

Bottle: Batch 575: Thanks Papsø: Served in a Duvel glass: Small to medium sized vast creamy snow white foamy head on top of a hazy beautiful yellow colored beer. Aromas of soap, grains, hay, pilsmalts, some hops and herbs. Flavours of hops, light citrus, bitters, hay, floral tones, some yeast, grains, some clay, herbs and malts. Aftertaste is floral, grassy, bitter, hay and some crispy lighter malts. Low carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a creamy texture. Bit soapy, medium in body, but some good bitters and crispy touch. Strange but ok.

Bottle from Fish and Beer, Copenhagen - Pale blond/gold colour. Very light hoppy, yeasty and herby floral taste/aroma, light sweet malt base, very light almost weak overall for my palate. Ok overall.

semi hazy golden body white head . Aroma has sweet malt, fruits yeast and some wheat. Bit flat and way too sweet for my taste. Quite unnecessary beer.
