COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We have striven and struggled, we have cursed and sworn and we have snarled and yelled. But dammit did we also have a good time since we boiled up the first brew at Amager Bryghus one early morning back in April 2007. A lot of beer has been through our tanks since then to now reach Batch 500. With this East Coast IPA we simply believe to have cracked the code and found the cash cow that will make us millionaires when we sell out to the multinationals. Batch 500 is a beer so pleasantly balancing between the lightly sweet malt and fruitiness and a rather complex hop profile that we’re sure that even the brewer’s non beerdrinking wife will have to surrender. THAT will be the ultimate test… Enjoy!

sampled on tap, at fermentoren if i’m not mistaken. golden with a billowing white head; plenty of tropical fruit in the aroma; assertive bitterness backed by some zesty citrus and pineapple skin

Bottled 500ml@VWPBF Hazy orange color, small white head. Citric, gooseberry aroma. Medium-bodied. Citrus, grass, lots of bitterness. Sweetish-fruity but thinnish backbone.

Bottle. It’s an unclear, golden-orange beer with a small, white head. The aroma is piney and lightly citrus peel-ish, some faint maltyness in the back. Sweet malty flavor with a nice bitterness. Resins and pine cones. Full-bodied, pleasantly carbonated and finishing mostly on the bitter side. Overall, a bit sweet maybe, but tasteful and easy drinkable. 130208

500ml bottle from the wine emporium Brisbane, pours a lovely golden colour, aromas of citrus and grapefruit, good lacing, a very smooth beer, the brewers wife might be a non beer drinker but my beer loving wife is thoroughly enjoying this brew, cheers

Flaske: Gulorange diset øl med bundfald. Tyndt skumhoved. Duft af citrus, fyrretræ. Hårdt humlet. Bitter finish på en lang citrus smag. I det hele taget lige en tand for meget bitterhumle, men ellers superlækker øl.
