COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We have striven and struggled, we have cursed and sworn and we have snarled and yelled. But dammit did we also have a good time since we boiled up the first brew at Amager Bryghus one early morning back in April 2007. A lot of beer has been through our tanks since then to now reach Batch 500. With this East Coast IPA we simply believe to have cracked the code and found the cash cow that will make us millionaires when we sell out to the multinationals. Batch 500 is a beer so pleasantly balancing between the lightly sweet malt and fruitiness and a rather complex hop profile that we’re sure that even the brewer’s non beerdrinking wife will have to surrender. THAT will be the ultimate test… Enjoy!

Bottle 500ml.

Unclear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, mandarin, tropical fruit, orange, resin notes. Initial flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter, finish flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light heavy bitter with a long duration, orange, tropical fruit, hoppy, papaja. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Late finish is maybe a bit to ruff - raw to my liking. [20121110]
