COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We have striven and struggled, we have cursed and sworn and we have snarled and yelled. But dammit did we also have a good time since we boiled up the first brew at Amager Bryghus one early morning back in April 2007. A lot of beer has been through our tanks since then to now reach Batch 500. With this East Coast IPA we simply believe to have cracked the code and found the cash cow that will make us millionaires when we sell out to the multinationals. Batch 500 is a beer so pleasantly balancing between the lightly sweet malt and fruitiness and a rather complex hop profile that we’re sure that even the brewer’s non beerdrinking wife will have to surrender. THAT will be the ultimate test… Enjoy!

Bottle at Slowbeer. Very well balanced, great hoppy intensity. Aromas of caramel, grass, and hay. Taste starts sweet, with bitterness taking over for a long finish. Palate is velvety, almost creamy, full body. Amber, cloudy, frothy head.

500ml bottle from the wine emporium Brisbane, pours a lovely golden colour, aromas of citrus and grapefruit, good lacing, a very smooth beer, the brewers wife might be a non beer drinker but my beer loving wife is thoroughly enjoying this brew, cheers

From a 500ml bottle on 21/5/2013. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a big, fluffy, lasting white head. Has a lovely aroma featuring honey, and big floral and fruity notes (particularly passionfruit). The flavour features sweet citrus and stone fruits, more honey and some light caramel malt. But its the hops which ultimately hold sway, with an intense grapefruity, resiny bitterness lingering in the mouth long after its gone down the hatch. It’s quite meaty for a standard IPA and nicely carbed. A terrific, beautifully balanced IPA.

(50 cl bottle from Amager Bryghus; batch 500; bbd: September 2014) Pours an opaque amber with generous, white head. Good lace and retention. Aroma is citrus fruit hoppy with pleasant notes of grape fruit and other tropical fruits. Oily texture, full body, medium carbonation and a bitter finish. Taste is sweet malty up front with some acidic notes followed by a fruity, aromatic bitterness. Girlfriend says: "It’s very bitter."

Bottle, 50 cl. Light hazy amber with a white head, ok retention and very nice kacings. Very hoppy, almost greasy aroma with lots of citrus, exotic fruits, piney notes and a touch of coconut-oil. Medium body. Quite sweet malty palate, but very very well balanced by a hoppy, heavy bitter, dry finish
