Ole_R (1055), Oslo, Norway Apr 28, 2008 Draught @ Plan B, Copenhagen. A greyish filmy layer of foam upon an unclear copper-orange colored body. Strong piney and grapefruity hoparoma. Taste is light malty with a heavy hopbitterness. Grapefruit and pine again. Some caramellish malt-sweetness towards the end. Oily mouthfeel. Big body. Long bitter finish. A nice one with lots of muscels.

Bov (4559), Bienne, Switzerland Jul 1, 2008 courtesy of Per Forsgren - pours a hazy red-amber colour under a little beige foam; aroma of orange blossom with notes of caramel and citrus; full-bodied, initial sweetness is quickly followed by a solid bitterness; some astringence; quite dry and long hoppy and herbal finish with notes of mint - deeply rich and very good skortila (2343), Bunnik, Netherlands Jun 30, 2008 Bottled @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. JensenTaster (1478), Denmark Jun 23, 2008 (on bottle) A pale/grey brown brew, hazy, allmost no head. The hops a re very dominant, througout the beer and that is a +, for a US SA, but I really have dificulies with the malts in this brew, who are suposed to be the balance point to make it a really complex brew. It dosen´t succéd on this point and that leaves the Simcoe to carry all the 9,2% and here goes another downer. The malts are vague and strangely flat, not helped by a weak carbonation. Left is a strong beer with little or no balance. Pinball (195), Allerød, Denmark Jun 12, 2008 extremely extreme. If you like hoppy, you’ll love this. pulling my hands down i must admit that this brew shot itselt into personal top10 in like 5 seconds.
