4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Undoubtfully this looks like a tempting impreial stout. The pour is dark brown with a frothy cappochino head. There is a lot of hops in the aroma but also hints of vanilla - but the floral and grassy hoppy notes is up front. The taste is (in spite of the words above" a little burned with hoppy notes back up with a cool hoppy bitterness and some alcohol. It comes with a full bodied palate with a rather oily or creamy attitude. It very nice and I think of it as a thick Ipa. Thumps up to Shaun Hill and to Amager to let this guy swing the giant spoon in your barrels. Looking forward to taste some of that Hill Farmstead.

Dark, almost black color. Large brownish foam. Interesting hoppy aroma with roasted malt, chocolate, grape and some floral and pine.
Flavour was very bitter, but not only bitter. Interesting mix of hops, grape, coffee, roasted malt and caramel. Medium body with a long bitter finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
It’s black with a red hue and a huge, creamy, light brown and lasting head. The aroma is hoppy with notes of spruce, resin, light petrol (in the OK resin-way) and citrus. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of the resin from a Grand fir, roasted malt, grapefruit, exotic fruits and the finish has a nice bitterness with notes of grapefruit and resin.

A Mes rate. Bottle at 1st Borefts Beer Festival BIG thanks to the bloke who loves phones..
Mahogany black with an excellent off white head and lace. Amazing bright floral hoppage and petrol (in a good way, honestly) on top of some truly stunning black malt. The dark coffee character blends seamlessly with the fresh grassy hops. It’s probably the best integration between dark and golden I have experienced so far. Beautiful earthy finish with great length and a developing bitterness. Fantastic.
