COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Nearly opaque black/brown color with a small, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, some chocolate, floral hops, pine, and some citrus. Taste of roasty malts, chocolate, some smoke, and bitter hops. But really this has more stout qualities than IPA qualities.

Undoubtfully this looks like a tempting impreial stout. The pour is dark brown with a frothy cappochino head. There is a lot of hops in the aroma but also hints of vanilla - but the floral and grassy hoppy notes is up front. The taste is (in spite of the words above" a little burned with hoppy notes back up with a cool hoppy bitterness and some alcohol. It comes with a full bodied palate with a rather oily or creamy attitude. It very nice and I think of it as a thick Ipa. Thumps up to Shaun Hill and to Amager to let this guy swing the giant spoon in your barrels. Looking forward to taste some of that Hill Farmstead.

It’s black with a red hue and a huge, creamy, light brown and lasting head. The aroma is hoppy with notes of spruce, resin, light petrol (in the OK resin-way) and citrus. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of the resin from a Grand fir, roasted malt, grapefruit, exotic fruits and the finish has a nice bitterness with notes of grapefruit and resin.

Bottle 50 cl. huge building brown bubbly head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Dark mahogany color. Aroma of grape, citrus, floral, pine like, mild malty feel. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Heavy bitter flavor with good counter sweetness. Lingering dry bitter finish.
