COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draught at Bishops Arms Jänrtorget, Göteborg, on October 17, 2010. During Porterveckan 2010
Black color, fluffy tan head. Very hoppy, fruity, red berries, some citrus scent. Hoppy, bitter, dry, roasted, fresh taste. Long, bitter, lingering aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.
Almost too dry for me and too bitter, but it works, very nice!

Embrouille (2819) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 7, 2010
Bottled 50cl. It pours a very dark beer with a nicely remaining, relatively tall beige head. Flawless aroma which is dominated by hops. Reminiscence of grapefruit, pine needles and coffee throughout. Medium to full bodied. Late bitterness which introduces a dry bitter finish in which coffee, grapefruit and nasturcium are most present. Really delicious.

Bottle, thanks to larsniclas. Dark amber color, huge beige head. Huge bitter aroma, grassy, some fruits. Hoppy metallic flavor, a bit too onedimensional to really attract me.

Bottled courtesy of the Amager brewers and Papsoe, huge, HUGE thanks! Poured a pitch black body with a dark tan head that went awaat a medium pace. Superbly hopiness in the nose, big passionfruit balanced by some malt. Refreshing, damn refreshing tropical hoppy taste, mingling with some roastiness, truly splendidly put together. Now this is what I imagined the style to be all about and I love it.

lusikka (5948) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 20, 2010
500 ml bottle. Rated @ 22.4.2010.
Pours a beautiful black colour with a espresso-like brown head which lasts nicely. Strong aroma of hops, slight roastiness and grass notes. The taste is hop-driven with roasted malts, coffee, fruits, grass and wood. Medium/full bodied, oily texture and rough carbonation. Dry finish. Decent Black IPA.
