COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle from systembolaget. Smell of hops, malts and coffee. Pours black with a small brown head. Taste has a lot of hops and grass-like features together with some malts and coffee. Palate is stray and sticky. Overall a decent black IPA, though a bit too bitter.

500ml bottle. Pitch black color. Massive brown head, stays. Pine, spruce, bit of tar and roast in aroma. Pine, deep roast, dusty flavor. Alcohol is very well hidden. Medium body, soft carbonation. I can drink that happily.

Color negro, espuma beige.

humlelala (1074) - DENMARK - OCT 11, 2014
(50 cl bottle from Toft Vin; Batch #866; BBD: September 2015) Pours a pitch black with tan and creamy, one-finger head. Decent retention and beautiful lace. Aroma is hoppy with herbal and earthy notes. Oily texture, soft carbonation, medium body and a protracted, bitter finish. Flavour is hop forward bitterness with aroma notes and only a little sweetness. Quite nice and I think there’s a trace of James in there - perhaps the CTZ hops.

Countbeer (5034) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2014
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Black beer with a medium sized ashy brown head. Aroma is a delicious mix of fresh hops (think loads of fruits and flowers) and some roast. Delicious! Flavours of again load of hops with the typical fruit (citrus, grapefruit, exotic) and flower tones. Good roast, light liquorice tones and good bitters! Pine, resin, spruce... It’s all there. Aftertaste is bitter, hoppy, floral, fruity, roast, some flowers and grassy. Low cabo, close to full bodied and a creamy mouthfeel and texture. Delicious stuff!

Slutsats; riktigt gott.

Wonderful fruity aroma. The taste is fruity but still feels the dark malt. Quite heavy bitterness that fills the mouth a long time. This really is the mixture between a stout and an IPA. Exactly how it should be. Very good beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
