COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We have succeeded in brewing a beer, which does not attack your taste buds with shrieking hop bitterness and oceans of alcohol as of the first sip. “Bryggens Blond” is more likely a beer appealing to thoughtful consumer rather than hardened beer enthusiasts with its gentle appearance. The poured Bryggens Blond appears warm golden with a creamy and delicate head. The aroma is rich on flower notes and a touch of yeast reveals the Belgian inspiration.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow very cloudy colour. Way too much setiment. Light malty moderate hoppy heavy yeasty nice aroma with strong citrus and pineapple notes. Light bitter flavor. Heavy bitter finish. Very acetic and sour indikation of infection. Watery palate and too fizzy.

22-MAY-2010, bottle @home. Orange-like golden with white head. Very murky with some residue floating around slowly setling at the bottom. Weak yeasty nose. Creamy with some orange peel and a little liqourice as it warms. Off course it ends in a hoppy bitterness - not much, but it is there. After all this is Amager Bryghus. Fine beer. Nothing fancy, but fine.

bottle thanks to Papso. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a thin white head. Nose is floral with a yummy orange and spice. Could sense alcohol. Taste is of spice and citrus fruit. Mouthfeel is thin and sticky with a dry finish and mild bitterness. Some residue in the glass.

MPA (715) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - JUN 6, 2009
Bottle. Clear golden with nice white head at first pour. Changes into murky orange with some sediment at the second pour. Grain, straw and malt fills the nose along with some citric hops. Also a little yeast. Malty flavour with some fruitiness and citrusy hops. Has more bitterness than a typical belgian ale. A decent swill with a broad appeal, but nothing fancy to bring out the geek in anyone.

Bottle, #35. It pours a hazy orange-yellow body with a nice white head leaving some pretty lacings. Grainy, malty nose with a nice fruityness, some spices and hints of yeast. Floral in a way, must be the hops. In the mouth, it’s quite effervescent, medium full, and with flavors of grains and fruityness. Orange and lime, pale malt, some hoppy bitterness, noble hops (?) and a spicy hint. Fruity and bitter in the finish. A beer that goes down easy, is quaffable and quenching, and considering the brewery, surprisingly weak in all aspects. (081025)

Bottle at Aarhus beerfestival: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma has yeast & fruits (citrus). Some spices. An OK palate. Finishes dry. One of the less interesting brews from the brewery!
