English: Granted, it was damn ’ difficult, but our customers asked for such a beer, we are actually quite proud of the fact that we succeeded. What we have succeeded with is to produce a beer that is not already from the first sip an attack on your tastebuds with a screeching hop bitterness and oceans of alcohol. Bryggen’s Blonde is probably best described as a beer with a gentle appearance that appeals to the thoughtful segment, rather than the tanned, hardened beer enthusiasts. In the glass it appears a warm golden beer both creamy and delicious. The scent is rich in floral tones and a slight hint of yeast reveals the Belgian inspiration.
With Bryggens Blond we would like to thank those of our customers who reminded us that a good beer does not always have to be a wild and violent experience.

Pours orangey golden with a little off white head. Diffuse malty aroma. But the taste is all fresh malt, with some good cereal and biscuit notes, with some floral overtones and maybe a bit of herbaceousness from the hops. I kind of agree with the brewery’s deScription- this is not an extreme beer by any means, just good raw ingredients, nice and drinkable. I like this style - it makes a nice break from hopmonsters.

(Sample at Amager Bryghus, thanks!) Pours a clear golden with little, off-white head. Good retention and lace. Aroma is wheaty/grainy with barnyard notes. Oily texture, medium body with soft carbonation and a slightly tart finish. Taste is malty with tart and straw notes. Not really my style.

Hazy gold - amber beer. Neutral to slightly soft palate. Aromatic malt with butter and caramel. A little fruity hop coming through. Minerally crisp and semi dry finish. Hangs together reasonably well.

Bottle from The Cracked Kettle web shop. Hazy golden color with minimal white head. Aroma of honey, toffee, caramel, light hoppy bitterness in background. Taste, sweet malty, yeast, pears, apples, honey, lemon, light bitterness. Long sweet bitter finish. Not the best beer from Amager, I’ve had.

POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - DEC 15, 2011
Hazy orange with a white medium sized head. Flavor was ok hoppy. The beer was drunk on the date which is believed to be a little too late as it had lost some flavor.

500 ml bottle.
Pours a dark orange colour with a large white head. Aroma of very sweet fruits, some floral hops and cardboard. Flavour of floral hops, sweet fruits, some mild caramel malts and some weak spices. Quite rough carbonation with a bitter, fruity finish. Not the best Golden Ale out there as this isn’t at it’s best anymore.
