COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Granted, it was damn ’ difficult, but our customers asked for such a beer, we are actually quite proud of the fact that we succeeded. What we have succeeded with is to produce a beer that is not already from the first sip an attack on your tastebuds with a screeching hop bitterness and oceans of alcohol. Bryggen’s Blonde is probably best described as a beer with a gentle appearance that appeals to the thoughtful segment, rather than the tanned, hardened beer enthusiasts. In the glass it appears a warm golden beer both creamy and delicious. The scent is rich in floral tones and a slight hint of yeast reveals the Belgian inspiration.
With Bryggens Blond we would like to thank those of our customers who reminded us that a good beer does not always have to be a wild and violent experience.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt , hops, sweet orange zest and yeast

Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Thin chocolaty aroma with mild butter too, sweet caramel and vegetables here too. Medium bodied. Flavor is more dry with some vegatables in start, aftertaste turns to hopped with still some vegetably-yeasty notes.

Flaske 0,5 l fra bestillingsutvalget til Systembolaget. Uklar. Lys gylden på farge. Lavt og luftig skum. Sterkt krydret aroma. Smaken er avrundet: Syrlig frukt. Ingen spesiell ettersmak. Bye bunnfall som ligger igjen i flaska. Litt uvariert - men god. KI=0

stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - SEP 3, 2009
Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2009, Valby. Pours an unclear golden beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is weak with some sweetness. The flavor is also weak, and the palate is thin. Overall this beer is too common.

Bottom of bottle contains "The Blob" ; beer itself is only veiled orange-amber; small white head. Wild greenery, garden weeds or nettles, arachideoil. More arachide in the flavour, beer is riddled with fatty acids and other autolysis products. Small wonder with the dung-hill of dead yeast down below. Retronasal flavour of rotting grass and caramel. Medium bodied, very well-carbonated. I honestly expected better from Amager; this is poor show.
