COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Granted, it was damn ’ difficult, but our customers asked for such a beer, we are actually quite proud of the fact that we succeeded. What we have succeeded with is to produce a beer that is not already from the first sip an attack on your tastebuds with a screeching hop bitterness and oceans of alcohol. Bryggen’s Blonde is probably best described as a beer with a gentle appearance that appeals to the thoughtful segment, rather than the tanned, hardened beer enthusiasts. In the glass it appears a warm golden beer both creamy and delicious. The scent is rich in floral tones and a slight hint of yeast reveals the Belgian inspiration.
With Bryggens Blond we would like to thank those of our customers who reminded us that a good beer does not always have to be a wild and violent experience.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt , hops, sweet orange zest and yeast

Bottle courtesy of papsoe. Pours gold with a nice white head. Smells of toasted malt, some light sweet citrus, wildflowers, dough. Tastes lightly bitter with a nice touch of caramel, some hints of biscuits. Some straw on the finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottled@Home (Bought in Olkonsortiet, Aalborg). Honeyish golden colour, big creamy white head. Aroma is strong honey, hops, nectar and some mild grassyness lurking in the background. Flavour is grassy, honeyish and nectarish in a very pleasant mix. Strong sweetish wooden notes in the finish. Nice golden ale.

EBF08. Wheaty, grainy aroma. Cloudy golden colour, white head. The flavour is wheaty and mild, like a good weak tripel.

Bottle: Smell is fruity, orange and citrus with some hops. Orange amber color beer. Small white lasting foamy head. Taste is very fresh and fruity (citrus, orange, lemon and others), bit hoppy, very light and fresh (summer) beer. Well balanced mix of sweet and bitter.

Bottle. Large bubbly off-white head that really lasted. Good display of lacework. Cloudy copper like color with tiny particles in flow. Aroma was a nice mix of fresh hoppy and classic Belgian Blond like notes. In particular peach, grassy, yeasty, mild spicy, hint of citrus, good mix of fruit and some underlying floral notes as well. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Good balance between the bitter and sweet flavor. Light dry and refreshing hoppy finish with an underlying sweet fruity feel. Very tasty and drinkable.

A little hazy orange/golden colored beer, with a thick off white head. The aroma is very fruity sweet with notes of bitter. The taste of sweet fruits. It has some bitter, dry and hoppy. The aftertaste is bitter with sweet. Not bad at all.

Medium white coarseish head. Deep yellow body. Deep fruity strawy malty aroma with honey notes. Fresh and harmonic. Dry-sweetish strawy malty honey taste with herbal notes. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Light body. Dryish honey and flowers aftertaste with caramelly notes. Very nice, and highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle, Café Langebro, Copenhagen.)

A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris O’s laid back Friday night tasting.
Cloudy pale blonde with a thin white head. Fruity and floral hoppy aroma that is very English in character. The flavour is more Belgian with some fairly clear yeast, more floral hops and a rather uneventful dry finish. So so at best.
