Pours light hazy brown with a small, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has sweet caramel, light roasted, soft coffee, yeast, coriander, cloves and chocolate. Medium carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, chocolate, cocoa, nutmeg, coriander, soft coffee. Long, dry finish. Very nice. MiP (9080), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 19, 2009 Bottle. Mild hoppy aroma, slightly grassy. Cloudy red amber colour. Very small white head. The flavour is quite grassy from the hops with an underlying sweet malt base. Seems a little roasted, even slightly smokey in the finish. Rough bitterness in the finish, but good and clean. Good display of lacework. Nice amber color. Aroma of caramel, mild spice, mild toasted malty notes. Over the palate came hint of coffee, nutmeg, mild floral and hint of grapy feel. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet and bitter flavor in balance. Finish off with a caramel toasted malty end with a hint of underlying bitterness. Very nice and drinkable. Theis (3740), Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2009 Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy orangey brown with a beige head. Lightly tart aroma, citrus and spices. Medium body, roasted malts, a little caramel and licorice - but also the typical ashy Amager house character. Very dry and hoppy finish - not your typical sticky sweet X-mas beer. 221009
