2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Botle. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich in smoke, ashes, malt and hops. Quite extreme, and becomes too much quite fast.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
30th October 2010
Clear and very dark brown beer. Decent off white head. Nose is of smoke and a little rubber (very apt label on this beer). Light softish palate, dry. Smoky rubbery malt with a little hop spice and bitterness to finish. Perhaps the sight of spinning car wheels on the label is too evocative but this tastes like fermented tyre shreddings!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A clear, dark brown beer with a reddish hue and a small, beige head. Smoked, meaty and sausage-like aroma with hints of hops. The flavor is smoked, lightly burnt and hoppd. Some meaty notes and chocolate. Full-bodied with some alcohol warmth, but far from boozy. The finish has a, considering the name and label picture, suiting rubbery touch. Definitely a nice smoked beer. 101229

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours hazy red-brown with a nice, creamy, yellowish head. Nice duration. Aroma is pure burnt rubber, caramel, meaty smoke. Low carbonation, dry mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly roasted, smoke, smoke, smoke. Really can’t like this...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep ruby brown beer with a long lasting little tan head. The aroma has a lot of caramel to balance the smoke - there is some bacon, and a good dose of peat, but much more balanced that I had expected. Rather sweet flavour with lots of caramel, and a bunch of mostly peat smoke nuances - heavily phenolic, tar, medicine, and some bacon too. Delicious and very drinkable. There is definitely an American character too in all the caramel, and a subtle fruity note
