4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap @ Cardinal.Nice golden color with a small white head. Rich aromas of citrusy hops and fruitiness. Great bitterness, somewhat more bitterness than the average pale ale. Great drinkability!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
From a 500 ml bottle, the beer poured a clear darkish amber with golden highlights and a tight white head that persisted. Aromas of pine, tropical fruits and floral notes on the nose. The taste starts off with fresh fruit before a big hop bitterness comes in, but washes away in the back end that’s mainly biscuity malt. Seems like it wants to be an IPA, but just pulls back at the end. Surprisingly, the finish is light and clean; but there’s a really great aftertaste that lingers on the palate. Balanced, smooth and very refreshing. One of the best beers I’ve had so far this year.

Bottle 500ml at Biero. Nice and fruity. Aromas of peach and caramel, with hints of butter and citrus. Taste is sweet, with light bitter and sour notes, and average length. Palate is velvety, with a medium body. Dark yellow, with a frothy head.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20

Smells good and almost wonderful. The taste is good but it takes something. The aftertaste is left for a while. Drinking this beer closer to Christmas might be wrong but so good it is. Could this be a double IPA, this would probably get top rating from me.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
hazy bright golden colour, huge long lasting head; aroma of citrussy hops with some resin, maltyness and sauerkraut; taste is dominated by hoppy bitterness (mostly resiny, but citrussy hops can also be felt), though malty sweetness is also present; far from being the best value for money beer, but it’s purely because of its high price :-)

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
0.5L bottle, shared with my brother who brought it from the source, thanks! Beautiful crystal clear orange colour at first pour though the end of the bottle was full of sediment, making the beer murky. Small fast diminishing head, aroma of mandarine, orange peel marmalade, white peach and some floweriness. Strong bitterness but not too powerfull, melding with some toastiness and caramel notes. Body is medium, aftertaste is long and pleasantly sweet and sour. Another excellent pale ale.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy golden orange colour, big dense off white head. Aroma of lots of fruity hops, citrus, grapes, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, lovely. Flavour is light sweet, dry malty, light floral, nice citrus and tropical fruit bitter hoppiness underneath and in the finish, ends dry. Light bodied. Very nice and refreshing beer.
