Dark amber color, creamy head. Intriguing aroma: caramel, dusty Danish yeast, moderate sourness. Sweetish caramel flavor, fruity, bitter, with a shade of dust. Good.

On tap at Mikkeller. it’s a murky brown beer topped by a minimal off-white head. Roasted, slightly coffee-ish aroma with sour berries and some vinegar. Vinegar, sour berries, roasted malts, dried fruits and both sourness and some sweetness in the flavor. Long, sweet, acidic finish with berries and vinegar. Medium to full body, slightly astringent and slightly sweetish. A nice and unusual one. 100508

Murky, very dark amber brown with an impressive beige head. This is strange stuff. Very tart fruit dominates, huge lactic sourness and some strong wooden notes. A strange battle between the earthy malt and the tarty top end in the finish. Something in me hated it and to be honest it was a bit of a mess but I still found it fun to drink.

On tap @ Mikkeller bar. Hazy dark brown body with a thin beige head. Aroma of sour berry and light roasted malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, acidic, fruity, light chocolate and warming alcohol. Quite intense flavors here, fruity, acidic and sweet. Pretty nice.

5th May 2010. Mikkeller Bar. Copenhagen. Dark brown beer, very hazy. Short tan head. Dark malt, a little pleasant sourness offset by some sweetish vinegar. Pleasantly sour for a non sour lover!

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2010 Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Dark reddish brown, no head. Sweet and fruity, salty and berryish with full body and clean, oily mouthfeel. Alcohol and tartish cranberry syrup. Really messy.

Draught, 7.5% ABV, at Mikkeller Bar. Almost black body added by a brownish shade. A few fawn-coloured patches on the surface. Subdued aroma of cocoa malts with some kind of tartness beneath. Rounded taste profile that brings coffee, cocoa, anise and tart, dark fruits towards the finish. Medium bodied. Feels smooth in the mouth (Copenhagen, 09.05.2010).

Draught. Dark amber-brown colour, small head .Tart dark fruity and malty aroma with citrus. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is sour and quite tart with dark fruits, caramel, citrus, bitter hops , spice and some berry fruitiness in the tart sweet pleasant finish.

Draught (Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen) - Very dark brown with red tinges when held to the light. Fruity aroma with a hint of marzipan. Sweet, fruity and tart taste with caramel, raisins and marzipan. Rather rich and sweet. Difficult to drink too much of.

Draught@Mikkeller Bar. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is sour wood, mild spices, grass and quite tart. Flavour is very much the same. Kind of IPA meets sour ale in a very nice mix.
