3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Thanks Papsø: Served in a Chouffe glass: #78/190:
Deep brown beer with a medium sized beige head.
Aroma has some nice sour notes: fruits, berries, grapes, some dry fruit, yeast, wilder yeast, wood, lacto and a hint of alcohol.
Flavours of fruit, berries, grapes, grapefruit, wilder yeast, bitters, malty bitters, nasty bitters, dry and some wood.
Aftertaste is bitter, dry, malty, some wood and a light nasty bitter touch.
Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, more than medium bodied and a creamy light dry texture.
Nasty bitter is quite dominant but strangely it’s not so bad overall.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Stark karbonisierter Antrunk Mut malzigen, etwas alleinstehenden Noten. Der Alkoholgehalt ist zu jedem Zeitpunkt erkennbar, fruchtig, zu trocken, zum Ende sehr schnell abflachend. 10/10/11/11/13/12

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a cloudy brown color with a head. The smell is dark fruit, a bit of funk. The taste is sour fruit, band aid, old yeast. The body is medium with fairly active carbonation.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Dark red/brown pour, lasting light carbonation and an aroma of sour cherries and wood. Flavor is very alcoholic dark stone fruits, lightly malty and mildy sour. Not bad, but I wish the ABV would have been dialed back.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
(bottle courtesy of Papsøe, huge thanks! Batch 0A; bottle 54/190; BBD: September 2014) Pours a slightly hazy, dark copper with little, tan head. Aroma is peat, plastic, artificial and not really funky. Medium carbonation, oily texture and a strange, malty slightly sour finish. Flavour is quite weird somewhat green, slightly sour and maybe malty.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
250mL bottle, sent from St. Fun (thanks a lot, Josh), pours a filthy, murky dark brown with an amber tinge and a quickly-dissipating medium fizzy beige head. Aroma brings out vinegar, tart red berries, wood and some mild wild character. Flavour is both sweet and sour, bringing out notes of candied sugar, vinegar, and tart red berries. Palate is extremely acidic and extremely carbonated - not bringing out the flavours even close to optimally. Nice enough flavours, but the body is messed up. Not very enjoyable due to this.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
2nd April 2010
Cloudy dark brown beer. Thin biscuit coloured head. Unpleasant nose of pee! Softish dry palate, over dry. Milky sweetness underpins malty coca cola sourness. Some aniseed and a dry finish. Warming afterglow. An okay beer but I was expecting something much better.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour thanks to Aaron, awesome, out of 180 mL bottle, dark brownish red very opaque pour with fizzy tan head, dissipates quickly but to be expected. Aroma brings notes of some plum, cherry, other dark fruits with some cocoa powder and vinegar notes, slight hint of alcohol in there. Taste is creamy chocolate and dark fruits, hints of rum soaked fruits with a touch of warming alcohol, touch of vinegar but really restrained compared to the aroma, a bit of thin grassy and caramel notes, spicy notes of cumin and ginger, finishing fairly alcoholic. Very, very unique but not the best blend of brews, some weird spices as well.
