3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 bluebetty (879) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 12, 2012
Bottle with thanks to Papso. Pours a murky light brown with dark tan coloured head. Aromas of sour stone fruits. Some maly sweetness. Flavours show heaps of the malt with decent vinegar sournes to finish.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 arminjewell (3096) - Parker, Colorado, USA - MAR 21, 2012
Pour thanks to Aaron, awesome, out of 180 mL bottle, dark brownish red very opaque pour with fizzy tan head, dissipates quickly but to be expected. Aroma brings notes of some plum, cherry, other dark fruits with some cocoa powder and vinegar notes, slight hint of alcohol in there. Taste is creamy chocolate and dark fruits, hints of rum soaked fruits with a touch of warming alcohol, touch of vinegar but really restrained compared to the aroma, a bit of thin grassy and caramel notes, spicy notes of cumin and ginger, finishing fairly alcoholic. Very, very unique but not the best blend of brews, some weird spices as well.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 adnielsen (3704) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 21, 2012
Bottle courtesy of my secret santa. Thanks Mads! Cloudy, reddish brown appearance with a big bubbly, tan head. Tart, dark raspberry, plum, really spicy, almost curry-like, tangy aroma. Thick vinegar, rich spicy, dark cherry, plum, acidic, slightly roasty, somewhat boozy, fruity flavor. Spicy, vinegar aftertaste. Not my favorite.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - SEP 7, 2011
Courtesy of Papsø The bottle is a slow gusher; it pours a cloudy brown color, with big frothy head. The sour aroma is initially very nice, fruity and vinous too (7.5); then it turns into dusty chocolate, with sourness, Chinese spices, wood (6.5). The carbonation is too high, disturbing; there is a mixed flavor of chocolate, dark caramel, limited residual sweetness, some woody sourness, hints of liquorice; adding to all this, also a quite high alcohol perception. The final shows caramel and chocolate, with light and soft woody astringency. Chocolate, alcohol and sourness are difficult to match: chaotic.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 yngwie (9175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 7, 2011
Bottle. An unclear, brown beer with a small, beige head. Raisins, some sourish notes and that typical Belgian-style aroma with fruityness, alcohol and hints of spices. Rather vinous. The flavor is sourish and vinous, with raisins, some cloves and ginger. Full-bodied, smooth and warming, with a long, sourish finish. Slightly vinous. A lovely one, far from easy drinkable, but really tasteful and pleasant. 110107
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 hopscotch (7522) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 5, 2011
Bottle… Space Coast Craft Beer Festival 2011 …Murky brown ale with a medium-sized, fluffy, khaki head. The complex, acidic vinous aroma presents red wine, wood, caramel and sour cherries. Medium-bodied and arid with loads of effervescence. The flavor offers sour cherries, dry red wine and tannic oak underscored by an afterthought of mildly sweet caramel and toffee. Finishes crisp and dry. Obviously bretted and/or bugged to high Hell. Interesting. Bottle courtesy of Plovmand!

250 ml bottle. Dim amber body with a big and fast disappearing beige head. Aroma is funky Brett with malt and some spices. Flavor is sweet, bitter, and acidic with caramel, cloves and other Christmas spices, fruit and hops. It seems like they manage to put the whole specter of everything inside this bottle without just making a mess out of this. This is very complex and really delicious. Amazing and wonderful, the alcohol is well hidden as well.
